Fitz pretty much said Moylan will be around next year without actually saying Moylan will be around next year in tonights presser.
Yeh I took that as we would like to keep him - at the right price.

I think they understand they need to prepare for a replacement so if someone comes up they will be in a position to grab.

if Moylan produces similar to yesterday or plays like he's 23 again. keep him on, yes at a suitable price, nothing outlandish.

always worried about injuries or if he re-signs he then cruises.
seems to have had an attitude change in recent times and looking fit

Does Moylan look good cause we play poor teams?
Comments like this get thrown around all of the time. The answer is that halves and outside backs look good when their forwards are winning the battle in the guts. When we play poor teams, we win the battle more often.

Early season Moylan looked great against Parra - who are definitely a good team.

On the first Titans try, he was the only one sprinting back. I was afraid for his hammies, but he seems to be doing OK. I think that massive pre-season is paying off and keeping him healthy and on the field.

"Yeah he played well but why can't he play that well against the better teams?"

Because they are literally a better team and thus, by definition, more difficult to play well against.
It's a tough concept.

Still looks like he's going to do a hammy putting up a bomb, but has been the best player in the team over the past couple of weeks.

it's more difficult for the ENTIRE team so the players that support and setup Mozza have a harder time to

if it were gunna happen I think it would have happened

He's been playing some good footy. I'm not too sure about a 2 year deal, 1 year would be better.

I get the feeling though, as soon as he signs a new deal, he could drop in form.

Darius Boyd type deal could work.

- 1 year deal
- 1 year club option @ same amount which automatically activates if he plays a certain amount of games
- if he plays that amount of games and the Sharks decline the option, he gets a payout of 1/3 on that second year

… or something like that. Gives the Sharks the option to move on if things don’t work in 2023, and Moyza can still afford his Winnie Blues if he gets the flick.

They're not one of the better teams though, no one truly believes that.
They were underwhelming to start the year, but in the last 7 weeks they’ve beaten the Roosters, Souths, Sharks, and had narrow losses to Brisbane and Parra. They are playing like a top 6 team atm and just got their starting 7 back.

Whether you want to call them a top team when we lost to them though, different question.

define top team? for mine, top 8 is a top team, i would have them in that bracket
So you think Souths and Saints are top teams? Nup.

Penrith, Storm and arguably the Cows are the top teams. Parra have beaten Penrith and Storm which no other team will do this year, so they probably are as well despite losing to **** teams.
