What I find odd is that this is the premiership winning team. Foran was a key ingredient in them getting it as well. Obviously a dangling carrot is present, but its hard to see someone who has helped a team achieve the greatest achievement in the game, would wanna leave, even if a clause in his contract, and a relationship with his coach exists. Going to a new club with new blokes, with little recent success, from a club who have arguably been the best club in recent seasons, to me, i wouldnt wanna.

But whats **** to me is that Phil Rothfield's article in the paper today is all opinion, as most of his are. Who is he to sit behind his computer, publishing opinions, and degrading remarks towards clubs etc, its not journalism, its just a guy publicly throwing 2 cents. He would be better suited to forum conversations like this, than a paying job. Why not make articles with genuine statements from those involved, instead of guessing what will happen

So Manly have lost their coach for 2013.

He may end leaving as early as tonight.

But why are you guys talking about merging, relocating etc.

Dessie is a fantastic coach, but Manly is bigger than 1 person.

They will be right.

Manly have plenty of $$ behind them with penn etc so they wont be going anywhere besides down the ladder and probably out of the eight.
At one stage it was probably exciting for Toovey but he has to rebuild the team management and I am not talking about players.

Didn't this all start over a squabble of 50k with Dessie they wouldn't pay him extra or something?

But **** me that board seem to have lost it but I guess that's what you get with private ownership they will work it out.

The **** really started when they sacked Zorba - that's what got Des motivated to leave.

I hate Manly, but the League can't afford this constant crap.

I hate the Munly She Beagles......the whinge and whine over everything.

That being said...I feel sorry for there supporters...they wern't even over the hang over of victory when it crumbled.

I hate Manly but I don't wish for them to break down as a club, I just want them to lurk at the bottom of the ladder.
