This !!!

And dont under estimate the role Andy Gray played in our season either !

PEAK PERFORMANCE

THE secret to Cronulla’s success comes from their high performance department, led by Andrew Gray and Mark Noakes. In sprint time trials over 40m last week, Sharks players ran their fastest times in two years and are peaking at exactly the right time. It’s a great sign when most teams struggle after long campaigns. Gray was poached from St George Illawarra where he worked under Wayne Bennettfor their 2010 premiership.

There has never been a better CEO in rugby league history.

What a ****ing man of the people. Shoeys, crowd surfing, helping rebuild the club, had responded to every email I've sent him and took time out of a crazy schedule to meet up with me and Mr. Wright. Give this bloke a statue as well while we are at it.

"We want to know why we can't be the benchmark club in the NRL. Who owns those rights? No one owns them. We've had some wonderful success stories in the past over different generations.

"So why can't we be?"

It seems as though he is motivated by challenges, while playing a part in us getting our first premiership is a fair notch in his belt I dare say he would have one eye of the mooted Shire A League licence playing out of Shark Park down the track should FFA expand the A League.

I wonder what the plans are for the extra revenue the club has raised due to our success on the weekend? I hope some of it is spent in areas where we lag other clubs.

There's been a bit of talk about a centre of excellence and ground upgrades, but those will need a lot more money. Haven't seen anything mentioned following on from pregame talks that gal/lyall would push for extra funding. What else would you be spending it on?

Mostly training facilities I think. I haven't seen them in person but we keep hearing how much we lag the bigger clubs in this area.

I don't think that's quite as accurate any more, a while ago sure but the last few years they've lifted there game and I'd say we'd have better facilities than alot of other clubs. Still we wouldn't be close to the Broncos, Storm, Dogs etc, and we need to get to that level if we want to regularly compete and attract new talent to the club.

Think it was mentioned the center of excellence would be built under an extended ET Stand but we'll need government money for that.

I really hate that name center of excellence btw, I hope we don't call it that
