It may have been mentioned already but I heard we were looking to replace him with the Wanderers ex CEO.

I haven't heard much about him for about 10 days in regards to us getting him for the CEO role.

This will be a massive signing if we jag him, anyone have any info on this?

From the little I know from reading different bits and pieces on him, if he can bring for us what he brought for WSW he'll be our best recruit in ... probably longer than my experience can draw on.

Sounds pretty good, must be decent if he was the founder of the WSW, had a few positives about our club!

Hard to see him leaving WSW though. They're very quickly becoming the most marketable brand in Australian sport. He's had a lot to do with that, but so too have the fans and the whole culture of the WS region.

Not doubting what he's done to date, but whether he could replicate that in the shire, in a different code... I'll hold my judgements.

Sharky7 he doesn't work for WSW anymore. This isn't a pipe dream. The board is chasing this bloke.

I thought he left when the new owners came in.

Apologies guys, mustn't have heard that.

In that case, the odds significantly go up.

But as the WSW were heavily backed by the FFA to get off the ground, again, i think this would have made his job slightly easier.

He won't be privy to such assistance from our governing body, i can assure that.

I dunno about that last line mate. I think the new regime has been pretty good to us. They've dished out punishment, sure, but not undeserved even if perhaps a bit hash.

I think at least until this TV deal expires they're all about pushing the Clubs to move into a new era of professionalism and they'll back them within reason. Those who fall short may be in strife in the years to come.
