Despite the speculation Manly have made no Appointment. They have however eliminated most candidates, and Lyall Gorman is firming. They have a full Board meeting tonight in which a Decision will be made. Whilst Bozo has taken a backward step Zhorba remains an Issue in the Club, lets hope Lyall well aware of and concerned for the future problems if he (Zorba ) remains. Apologies if this is the gist of Syd media, but if not, this is the EXACT state of play.

So, reading between the lines, Lyall may have requested no Bozo, no Zorba?

Hey Storm, do you have an insight as to why Lyall would want to leave the Sharks. The job at the Sharks holds far more responsibility than the Sea Eagles with the Development far from complete, projects like the A League bid. It seems like step down. I know he drives to the Shire from the North, but half of Sydney drive a long way to work.

is there more to the Manly salary cap scandal that requires a leader with experience and capability of getting a team out of such mess and showing the NRL they are serious on fixing their front office???

The Lurkers Take On It .

The Hound: What do U make of Lyall Gorman’s move to Manly? I hear the Sharks are not that disappointed

The Lurker: I’m hearing the same. They will even pay his road tolls to Brookvale.

I made the point earlier but that commute would be a serious head ****. I think he has high school age children and he works long hours. Most of which would need to be in the office. I wouldn't do it.

What would you expect him to say?

Didn't exactly ask him if he was leaving .
But said I hoped he stayed for years to come , that he's doing an awesome job .
He said he would definitely be staying as there's still heaps to be done here at the Sharks .
He could have said , I hope so or time will tell , but responded in a positive pro active way .
