I just played my 3rd game of the season, I bowled 4 overs and got 1-11 which I think is all right thanks to a high loopy ball which tempted the batsmen to play a big shot and then spun away which nicked his bat enough for my close in square leg fieldsmen to catch, the batsmen was actually my good mate from school so Im happy I got him out

Looks like I'll be out for at least the first half of the season.
I've been offered an Umpiring gig and the money is just too good to refuse. I plan to make sure that I qualify for the semis but, which means I have to play three games after 31 Jan.
My first game was a forfeit, so I filled in for one of our lower grade sides. Lucky I made it, 'cause I turned up half an hour after game start and made the seventh player (which meant they were allowed to start the game). Me and the four eyed drunk ranga put on 41 for the last wicket. It didn't take the opposition long to pass our majestic total of 56 :lmao.
I managed 2-72 off 8. I was still a bit pissed and fiery from the night before, and wasn't happy that I wasn't gonna get any Umpiring money, that I was bowling to five fielders, had started smoking again, had one dude plumb only to be given not out by his teamate, was playing with the four eyed drunk ranga again, and worst of all, was bowling full toss leggy tripe. I ended up bowling full toss sh!t offies for two overs but managed to sort it out and get 0-6 off my last two.
So even though I only bowled leggies for four overs, I'll take it on the chin and say that my strike rate is currently 24
If we count your 20/20 game that makes your strike rate 19.5. If we don't count it your strike rate is 33. Which do you choose
Good news but, the Association ended up giving me a hundred large for turning up to the forfeit, and I ended up picking up another sixty for another job I ended up doing after the game.
The wedge has been well spent

Actually, we play 2-day games, not 20/20's, I bowl 2 overs each day and got a wicket each day, and dont worry about not replying earlier

Im playing my next game 2moz, I forgot 2 add last week that I got 1-3 of 3 overs, not bad and I could have got 3-3 except the fieldsman dropped one and the wicketkeeper could have got a stumping but he dropped the ball and the batsmen was way up trying to smash the ball but he missed it

BUZIs making a comeback today Sharkboy. Rolled my arm over in the nets on Wed and the shoulder is still a bit tender. I might have to WK today. Probably wouldn't have bowled anyway being a one dayer. If I do roll the arm over it will be for 2-4 overs of offies, but I'll be sure to send down a leggy or two.

we won outright and I took 6-31 in the 2nd week and received a trophy at the end of the year for 10+ wickets in a match.

My seasons been going fairly well this season, been out for about 5 weeks due to holidays but start again this week against Byron Bay, im doing training again this week, so far ive bowled the most maidens in my team and been getting a few wickets to add to that but im still trying to work out how to do the topspinner, I can do the wrong'un but I cant do the topspinner, I thing I have the general idea though
