Smart roster management - not us
Good buys - not us
Luck - definitely not us
Buying Michael Ennis...
Priceless.

Kyle Flanagan who choked in a grand final like what, last year?
It's a shame, particularly him going to those ****heads.
He did win a GF though in the younger grades, didn’t he? (Not sure of the comp name). Compare him to Chad who wins Gfs for fun and it’s a polar opposite experience coming through the ranksChoked in the GF last 2018. Choked in the finals in 2017.
We're losing a player who didn't dominate in NSW Cup and has played ZERO minutes as an NRL halfback. Good luck to him. Sharks will be OK.
Exactly. Has shown glimpses of promise. Will have to really step up at Easts. They will move him on immediately if they don't think he will cut it.Choked in the GF last 2018. Choked in the finals in 2017.

Andrew Johns reckons he will have a 200 game career. It's all over for him now.
Win some lose some, we got a Trindall, a Dykes.... and a Sorensen. All good.
At least they played by the rules and didn't poach him until November.
Keeps thing fair for all the clubs
The thing I don't get it, he wanted out. We had him contracted. Not sure how the club is an idiot in this. If you bend over that easily in your personal life that's fine, but the club shouldn't.
I don’t think we should be guaranteeing anyone a spot short of guaranteeing them a fair crack at it in trials
What do you mean ... ?
If youre not willing to guarantee a player a spot when they are playing good, getting you results, apart of your future as JMO has stated and grown within in your own system then why would he stay, especially when you are watching the players that have been guaranteed your spot instead fk it all up.
Why would anyone want to stay if they aren’t guaranteed to be apart of your plans ?

The contract guarantees them a spot in the 30 man squad, everyone in the squad is in the plans. From there you earn your spot in the team.
Why the **** would we guarantee Flanno a starting halves jersey for next year? He can earn it just like Chad and Johnson should have to. If he can’t outplay them then he doesn’t deserve the spot.
If Chad and Johnson have been guaranteed spots why would Kyle stay? If some random kid can be guaranteed a spot in front of them for next year why would they give a **** about how they play now?
You play well to earn your spot and play well to keep it. If you don’t have a spot you try play well enough to force your way into one and hope an opportunity arises.
