Just to make sure I'm following this properly, there is wholesale bagging of the forward pack when Snowden and Douglas are off the field, yet we're saying we don't need additional forwards..?

Sounds to me like we have a great starting lineup but no depth. Are we expecting the two above to play 80 minutes each? Or do we take one off at a time and run with a half strength front row? From what I'm hearing around the forum, that's the choice.

And with recruitment, it's about the players who are available and where they'll play. It's no secret that the Sharks are finding it tough to recruit talent. Tahu was never going to join, for that reason plus the mates he has at Penrith. The Shire isn't exacly famous for it's cultural tolerance either...

I don't really rate him and never have but signings are hard to come by for us and he is an experienced prop. I'd take him if he was cheap on a very short term deal.

Cronulla After Joel Clinton!

The Mason saga could yet take another twist as reports from Sydney suggest that Rovers are in danger of losing another Australian prop, Joel Clinton, to Cronulla, because his family are homesick.

I think he might go alright, not sure why his' stats have dropped so much, but from the matches I have watched the 10 seems smaller, its always wet so less free flowing, and its slower plays of the ball etc, this would lead to lower meterage per carry by props?

Snowman, you watch heaps, is the above right or wrong?, also what do you reckon of him?

Is he a step up on Cordoba and Mannah ?

i dont think mannah is up to nrl atm, due to his long lay off
cordoba has been a surprise package

i would say he is on par with Cordoba

if cordoba and clinton are the bench props, and we start with kade (assuming he stays ) and one of vave/clayton

we will be sweet
