It's a good swap if we spend hardly anything on him, and use the extra money to address the real issues with our team. If Snowden leaves our forward pack will still be adequate and the rest of our team will still be inadequate. So the problem to address won't be to find another marquee prop, it'll be to find a marquee half / outside backs.

That was my thought too Mark. Especially if we can keep all three of the young props.

A one year contract yeah, hopefully in 2013 Vave and Mannah are up another level with Clayton a regular first grader too. Douglas/Vave/Mannah/Clayton, even some other guys may factor in by then.

couldn't agree more i think a back would be a better signing athough maybe wright or mills will come good this year.

Yep. It would have to be a cheap one year deal, but IMHO Clinton is at least as good as Cordoba and Mannah.

I think we should be re signing dougy before anything and i mean anything is done. It seems snowden is gone so douglas is the number one priority.

Clinton would be another dumb signing for a forward who is old and past it. reminds me of when we signed Darren Mapp when we didnt have any backs.

Maybe clinton only costs 80 k for a season but i think an extra 80k would persuade an outside back or half for next year quite nicely.
