Yep, that's about it, what other option is there? The Sharks are in our blood...doesn't matter how ****ed, ****house, rooted, useless etc. we are atm, we have to keep believing that one day it will change, and eventually we will get what we all want. That's what we live for, that's what we dream of, that's why we are here.
I wouldn't be worried about the selection of the team, my very first point as Coach would be to talk about running straight. We have developed a bad habit where the ball runner is floating across field and by the time he passes the footy to the outside man he has a 1 metre space to work in. No good.
I would also tell the players NOT to pass the football unless your support is in a better position and is clear. It disappoints me the way that we literally pass the football in traffic which is a 50/50 play.
I would tell my forwards they have 3 tackles to hit it up, then it goes out to the backs for plays 4,5 and 6, unless we are within 10m of the tryline.
In terms of team selection, I would give Gardner a crack at Half and see if he could emulate the great Barry Russell. I have been disappointed with our lack of running from our halves.

we have developed a very bad habit of signing forwards and neglecting backs...i keep saying it robson is crap so are degois morris mills tupuo stapleton and wright boys.....take the 6mths cause its evident they are missing tge vitamin c...and ryan should leave and sign up for channel 9

Any of our 1-7 go down, we have below average replacements.
We have the team to do something special, but its not all on the coach either.

The makeup of the team is largely irrelevant. There are highly skilled blokes in the team now that are seemingly shackled.
Ever since Lang left the joint has become forward orientated. The place is crazy for backrowers especially. It's entrenched and it's little wonder we don't have backs that shine.
I don't have issue with the thread but I don't believe the personnel are 100% of the problem. The game is rudimentary at best. People say the KISS theory is best but when do things become to simple?

You seem like the kind of guy who would go to a game give attitude to some bloke and his missus, then when the bloke steps up and tells you to **** off you get in your car and drive home. Then once you get home you jump on the internet to proclaim you would knock anyone out as well as this guy, but fail to include the detail that you were a dick originally.
