Problem solved: we know Flanno has a thing for Robbo. And I personally try to be positive about him because I know we're stuck with him. However, if you really want to see Townsend in action, get on twitter, give Georgie Rose a yell, tell him bust in Robbo's knees this weekend and then Chad will get his shot.

Yeah, he wasn't the best on the field by any stretch but my reply was mainly to highlight Jimbobs constant regurgitating of his warped opinions ie Townsend has been playing bad, Lichaa isn't ready, etc etc. Chad led them around the field well and he links up with his backrowers with quality ball a lot better than Robson does.

All well and good but since when was a good performance in NSW cup an indication of first grade ability or form?

Its clear theres not alot in it for Robson or Chad. But another factor is cool head under pressure? WOuld Robson have it over Chad in that? Obviously we arent much for late comebacks or pipping people at the post, but how does Chad go in that regard (this is a question not a smart arse comment)?

Obviously neither will see a spot over Todd, who would better suit him.

All im saying is NSW cup form means sfa in the scheme of things. Scott Dureau won the Albert Goldthorpe medal in the English Super League (their Dally M if you will). How many of you guys would want him to get a sharks call up?

I do think at some point, Chad has to be trialled in half with Todd at 5/8. If its a massive fail, at least we dont need the forum drama, and we can move on to complete replacements in 7 jersey.

I seriously couldn't see Chad going any worse than Robson at 7. Chad has a cooler head under pressure obviously he makes a lot less unforced errors and you have to remember he debut at 19 or 20 into a team of losers was able to snag a few wins with Graham as his halves partner something none of our halves have been able to do. I don't rate Chad highly but it's getting embarrassing for flanno for not even trying this combo.

All the work? Really? Looks pretty 50/50 to me with Chad slightly in the lead.

I know you like your stats and it's fair to have these as input but in the plays that actually did something in the set I saw very little from Chad until the last 10 mins when he put in 2 nice kicks.

Pretty sure I've been bagging Robbo for a long time, he at least wouldn't have had a single game over Chad the whole time he's been here.

That is utterly delusional to suggest not a single, one, uno game has Robbo been better than Chad. However much Robbo hate you have the guy got us over the line in some games last year and in some of those games was one of the standouts. Early in the 2012 season he was making Carney look like the poor half... Maybe Chad has looked good in NSW cup but so have other players who havn't cut it in FG. I'm not saying Chad can't be our FG half at some point but it's this blind over rated view of the guy that erks me.

I was there when Chad played against Brissy at Shark Park in Locky's last game. Setup a try off a grubber for Bakuya early in the game. He does have a reasonably cool head for a youngster which is a great quality. I wouldn't say that Robbo exactly drops his bundle though
