Few could contest that:

- Hughes gives the quickest and most accurate service out of dummy half
- Hughes is the best defender
- Hughes brings much-needed experience

I would vigorously contest the first point, I would debate the second point and I would concede the third point. Also I feel that his kicking game and dummy half running have both been substandard; Seu Seu and Caine are both far better options in my opinion.

I would think part of our problem would be with the strength and conditioning team given we can't keep our team on the park. Maybe we need to look at everything and start all over again!

I am with you there too Megashark, Hughes offers nothing in attack, he never looks like he is going to bust the line open. I think due to TC trying to impress and inspire something in the games he played he has caused these mistakes, but he is far superior in speed out of dummy half then both Seu Seu and Hughes. Plus I think TC has also had 12 months off, and still getting back to that level, with more experience, he could get there faster.

Personally I also think that when you play a younger player, it comes with the territory that they are going to make stupid mistakes, because they are trying harder to impress, given we have not won a game for 5 weeks, I really don't think a few errors are really going to matter to be honest, we are not winning anyway. I look at that Capewell for Souths he makes stupid mistakes here and there, but Taylor has perservered with him, and he is getting better each week. I personally would start Seu Seu, then back end of each half bring on TC.

On the comment made earlier about our speed, I am sure I mentioned on this thread earlier or on another thread on here, but I also think we do need to look at our speed and conditioning work, we are just too slow out of the blocks across the park. PERIOD.

It's very painful to see the likes of Keith Galloway and Luke Stuart playing so well for their chosen clubs knowing that they could still be here ! Even beau scott would be awesome in the centres for us atm. Who is responsible for letting him go back to goons ?

I never thought I would see that question asked on here, when he played for us every man and his dog was calling for him to get the axe! :nodlaugh

Its ok throwing the ball around but you have to have speed to capitalise on that if there is half a chance like Jennings , Slater ,Stewart ,Kenny-dowell ,Hayne Morris brothers look every team has some speed exept us.So if there is half a break they score we don't . Look I don't know who is the quickest over 50 but Reece would not be far of the pace and he has bung knees :D
As for the go forward look our front rowers are good but still very young . Dougy , Kade , still only 23 or 24 and still learning their trade but I wouldn't change them . Norrie is older but to me only a ordinary front rower , Millo 23 or 24 only played 14 games in first and when he came to us he was a lock or second rower not a front rower but i still rate him in front of Norrie . Selmes just coming back from injuries , Verlinden i dont think he has played firsts . Now we signed a bloke that was on the bench for the ipswich jets . and we wonder why we are on struggle street with our go forward , let alone the amount of ball we drop.
I would start we Seu Seu then bring on TC after things settle down to make yards

Im 113 kilos, lean, fit, I run 6 ks everyday, sometimes followed by a 1 k swim, lift weights 4 days a week. Im moving the shire to play footy! I was built for this Sh*t!

I'm 136 kilos, mean, fat, I drive 6ks everyday sometimes followed by a 1 kg steak, lift beers 4 days a week. I'm not moving to the shire to play footy. (Generally Sydney is full of ****wit posers except Shark supporters) I was built for comfort not speed.
