I have never said much in these threads, mainly looked at every-one elses. Most of you give me the sh**s. It doesn't matter if we win or lose, it's the team that binds us all together. You all whinge about certain players and not one of you lot would last 5 mins on the field with them, so give them all some credit and support for being able to play 1st grade footy for the Sharks which is more than you lot can say. Heart comes from all the years of wins, losses and criticism. The team is still here, will always be here, just look inside yourself for the spark that says I am a Shark fan always and forever. As Winston said "never give in, never give up!"

LOL at all the bench talk! By the way, let it be shown I didn't start any of that!


Anyway, what I have been meaning to do is get back to the above statement made by mako.

Mate, if you have read many of my post's you will notice that I very rarely bag any of our players. Hell, I even stuck up for Simmo!
However, when a player or players fail to give their all, they disgrace the jersey of the Mighty Sharks. On these occassions, criticisim is justified.

What you have to remember is that most of us here support the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks, not the individual employees who make up the team, week to week. Sure, we all have our heroes and our villains but, ultimately it is the Club we are cheering for. Players come and go, the Sharks are Forever.

When a player gives their all for the team, when they bleed for the jersey and give their all, no matter what, you will rarely hear a bad word about them, no matter how they play.

I'm sure Sludge, Gavin Miller, ET and Peachey all had bad games on occasion but you wouldn't hear a real fan bag them. That is because they know that they gave their all and that they will redeem themselves many times over.

That is all that I, and most of us on here, ask of our boys: that they wear the jersey with pride and give their all. If they are to lose, then they lose with honour, not in shame. I think last years team were a fantastic example of this sentiment. No matter what, they gave us everything.
