Worst decision in living memory. On a Par with Hartley in '78
Yeah, Gus has already said on his Twitter account that he is speechless, he is without speech.Looking forward to 100% Footy tonight
Will be a very quiet 100% Footy thenYeah, Gus has already said on his Twitter account that he is speechless, he is without speech.
Gal will make up for it.Will be a very quiet 100% Footy then
He's so bloody annoyingGal will make up for it.
maybe, but someone needs to keep Gus in line. Be a bit boring without him. Just wish he wouldn't interrupt and speak over people. He's so bloody annoying
The hip drop one annoys me. 99% don't get charged but the penalty at the time really hurts.Gotta admit I don’t love the footy as much as I used to.
Decisions like the Tigers game, the Dale charging & others where there is some real intent but they escape MRC attention.
On top of that the crusher tackle where players feign injury to milk a penalty, most crusher tackles the ball carrier is putting themselves into that situation yet the defenders have to somehow adjust themselves mid tackle to not cop a penalty.
The refs or the video ref, who more often than not include themselves by tipping the on field ref it’s a penalty have no common sense feel for the actual tackle, the ones where the player has the ball carrier held upright then drops down on them I can cop & admit it’s a penalty every day of the week but 75% minimum of the crusher tackles penalised should be play on.
Then there’s the hip drop tackle, again, the ref has no feel for what’s an accident or just pure momentum of bodies in a tackling process, by all means, penalise the deliberate intent of such a tackle but again, most hip drop tackles penalised are just plain bad luck & shouldn’t be penalised
Always taking up the last comment and getting in the way of the pointmaybe, but someone needs to keep Gus in line. Be a bit boring without him. Just wish he wouldn't interrupt and speak over people.
I can’t believe you just posted “just let the MRC review”.The hip drop one annoys me. 99% don't get charged but the penalty at the time really hurts.
For those type of incidents just let the MRC review - unless they are glaringly obvious.
Apparently they're bringing forward from 2.30 to 1.30pmHas there been an Annesley press conference this morning as yet?
Thanks mate. I thought it was always first thing in the morning.Apparently they're bringing forward from 2.30 to 1.30pm
Yeah so did I. It will also be broadcast live on SEN and of course on NRL website. Thanks mate. I thought it was always first thing in the morning.
Agree but at least it won't affect the game at the time.I can’t believe you just posted “just let the MRC review”.
The MRC is a big part of the problem.
They are just as inconsistent (if not more so) than the refs and bunker as it is (which says a lot).
Giving them even more responsibility (or lack of judgement, lack of balls to make a right call) is flirting with even more danger.
3 or 4 teams will be playing full contact footy and the rest will have to be content with touch footy.
That's why the early plea discount is so much, so you never want to fight it.Agree but at least it won't affect the game at the time.
Also if more teams fight stupid charges then that will stop the MRC from citing stupid charges to begin with.
Zero, nothing will happenWhat’s the chance of both teams getting 2 points?
