Now that we're into the "run home", how many of our remaining games do you think will be free to air? If Channel 9 are fair dinkum, i reckon we should get 3 or 4...Dragons, Storm, Rabbitohs, and maybe Cowboys.

Steve do you remember 2008 **** all, this year will be no different.

But will get to see Parra thrashed every week, the 2012 premiers lol the Tigers for some stupid reason and Broncos every Friday and the odd Sunday so if its one of those three we are in with a chance.

mate everyone is still writing us off and not considering us even a slim chance to win at the business end, so unfortunately i would imagine all those nuffys at channel 9 are probably thinking the same thing, they'll probly have parra v st merge on the last friday night of the season or some rubbish that resembles

Yeah sick of ch 9 & their scheduling, Parra got flogged today & will get the spoon they're back on Friday night against the dogs, bloody ridiculous. I hope 9 lose the tv rights because it's so biased in there it's not funny anymore.

If channel 9 do keep the rights they should at least be made to even up the free to air games. Even though i love no ads on foxtel its easier for others to watch plus we get exposure to a bigger crowd.

I thought our brisbane game last week was pretty frigging entertaining yet we watch the most boring game today on sunday arvo footy with parra getting flogged, like wtf are they thinking? no matter how popular these teams are no one wants to watch a smashing every week, we wanna watch good and entertaining but tough footy, i am pretty sure we fit that.

lol yep he has been on to it a long time ago.

I hear the same lines they get it because they rate better, **** how the **** cant you rate better when:

1: Its the only thing on.
2: Your on every week so no chance of seeing how well other teams rate.

Ch9 are just plain embarrassing.

The funny part is having these games televised is probably doing more damage to Parra then good.

Agree mate. I think channel underestimate league fans. Fans will watch if it's likely to be a close and entertaining game regardless of who is playing rather than games thatg will obviously be lopsided.

I've been banging on about this for ages, the sooner the ARLC take control of scheduling and tells the broadcaster what games they'll be televising, the better. It's what the AFL does, we need to grow some balls as a code.

I would expect that the Rabbitohs and Storm games should be FTA. Cowboys 50/50.

A scheduled FTA game that includes a team outside say the top 10 should not occur from here-on unless of course there is no other option. Primarily should be top 8 teams playing each other.

how the **** do you rate well when the team is losing ,no team no matter how good rates well when they have lost that many games

i just dont understand channel 9, do they want to have crap ratings, i mean bulldogs vs parra, cummon who will win!

bulldogs fans are gona watch and alot of parra fans arent, except the diehards, and general public dont always wanna watch a white wash, i know i found the newcastle souths match boring cos it was never competetive

it just really perplexes me how such a large supposedly professional tv channel cant figure simple **** out like this

haha its also funny because 2 of the top 3 channel 9 televised teams are in the bottom 8! in the dragons(10 on FTA) and knights (8 on FTA) whats the point!

Although Newcastle don't deserve anymore FTA in 2012, how'd Cronulla end up with another MNF?. At least it's away but jeez, that's my least preferred slot.

The knights game will be our 6th Monday night game. 4 of which will have been away. Bet most of the other top 4 sides are looked after better than this !

i know it is good for the club to have as many free to air games as possible. but they are painful to watch.
i much prefer watching games on fox

That's almost 1/4 of our season!!!!!

And we can probably put that down as a lose. We just don't win on Monday's.
