Mate no one mentioned 1980s prices - that's a bit of an overreaction I think. But the cost of living is going up and wages aren't so people are feeling the pinch. Especially lower income earners.

But still, do u consider $20-$25 expensive? For live sport?

U sit in the matty c, so obviously not the cheapest seats. If people just wanna be there, especially with a few kids theres a perfectly good hill with **** for the kids to do. For $20 a person or so, i dont think u can find many other things oike movies or bowling or whatever to do.

Crowds in general are ****house in the NRL. There's many reasons for it, poor scheduling being one, but I'm sure ticket prices, whether reasonable or not, is another.

Maybe so, but really what would make it enticing? $10 seats? Come on, if u can get into a premier sporting event for like $30 thats good vaue. Ever prices seats to american sporting events?

America has the population to charge whatever they want, it's completely different.

The real problem is it's far cheaper to pay $50 per month for Foxtel for a family and watch as much footy as you want in the comfort of their home.

Also, sitting on a bit of grass isn't everyone's cup of tea these days. I think people still want suburban grounds but better facilities. Can't see that happening though.

People need to toughen up then. Thats the problem with this country, people want it all, as long as they dont have to pay for it

that's easy for you to say but not every family has that money to spend on a night out. I expect the crowds to be lower towards the end of our 5 game home game streak just because families just can't afford to attend games every weekend

Correct. Don't under estimate how much of a family's income goes towards mortgage/rent in Sydney these days.

Doesnt mean the club/nrl needs to make games almost free. Like i said when you compare watching a live game to say going to the movies or going bowling or something its not like its put in this price category nobody can afford. Not all families are going to go to all games, ive bought single game family passes before for $50. For 4 people. No matter what world u live in thats a fair price.

No ones mentioned ticket prices in this thread at all, the complaints are mainly about parking and dab cam.

I don't. But others might. And while they may be able to go to one or two games they might not be able to afford to go to them all, even on a member's discount.
