Keep things simple and remember the actual game of football is the main event. Trying to turn the day into some sort of circus carnival with drums and cheesy gimmicks isn't my thing.

Most people are happy if they don't have to park 5ks from the ground and don't have to line up for food and drinks for an hour.

exactly

most premier league games have **** all pre game and half time entertainment

no need for it

This isn't meant to sound nasty but isn't this their job ? Why do they need volunteers and members to give them ideas.
None taken. I'm the middle man. The contact between club and fans/ members.
Imho it keeps them in touch with us, if they don't know answer or issues how are they to fix it up.

At this stage, this could be my last year as part of the members council.

We need a big tank with an actual Shark in it. And then get Matty C on a motorbike dressed as the Fonz, and he can get a nice run up and launch right over it.

You could grab a club member out of the crowd to do a kicking challenge or something. Try and drop-kick onto the crossbar or hit a conversion from a certain distance out. Kinda what Sydney FC do at the moment. A bit of a long shot but it's an idea.

I think Ev's given you good advice. Keep it simple. Make footy the focus, we don't need gimmicks like dab cam and stuff like that. Mermaids, junior footy and maybe a kicking challenge would be more then enough.

It's worth keeping in mind too that a large portion of the crowd don't even really give two ****s about half time entertainment. A lot of people are taking a piss, refilling their beers, having a smoke, getting a feed, having a look at merch, generally having a walk around or chatting with their mates.

The match day entertainment isn't the problem. You want to get more people to the game? Here's three things to fix:

• Food prices
• Beer prices
• Parking

Fix these three things and I guarantee it will help.

Keep it simple.

Couldn't have said this better myself. Add in ticket prices and you'd have sell out crowds every game.
I'm mostly reading a book or chatting to Ev and Littleshark when the game's not on, we couldn't give a **** about any half time or prematch entertainment.

Bar prices at shark park i dont think are that bad. You wont go to many live sports events or concerts or anything where youd pay any less. Food, it is expensive but i usually by from the private owned vans etc so thats their price i dunno what the club gets out of it.

Tickets- with a membership from general asmish if you attend most or all games you pay less than $18 entry......thsts cheaper than the cinema.

Family packages for single games arent usually too bad either. People just expect everything to be 1980s prices still

Mate no one mentioned 1980s prices - that's a bit of an overreaction I think. But the cost of living is going up and wages aren't so people are feeling the pinch. Especially lower income earners.
