Donny Van De Beek: Man United >>>>> AC Milan in exchange for Ismal Bennacer.

Im taking this one with a grain of salt due to the outlet reporting it but in terms of squad balance for United it does make a little bit of sense as United are heavy with CAM’s (Fernandes, Erikson, Mejbri) and DESPERATELY need a defensive minded midfielder, which Bennacer is. I’ll be quite sad to see Donny go though as I felt if he was given a chance with Ten Hag at the club as an 8, we would of seen something close to his Ajax form. But if it did happen I’d accept that it would benefit the balance of the squad.

But again, take with a grain of salt, its likely total bullshit.
just like liverpool signing antony if firmino leaves

i call massive bullshit on it

he played for a turkish side before so not surprised

i dont think he would have made it in australia
It stings for the new CEO though to miss out on another target considering both his predecessors were brilliant and landing these sort of signings. The fanbase is absolutely furious with the lack of transfer activity at Sydney FC so far this window so he’s already under massive pressure.

Speaking of Antony, I wouldnt be surprised if that turns very bitter. He really wants the Man United move but Ajax have ridiculously overvalued him, which is slightly understandable considering how many players they’ve lost. Its a standoff where all sides have a bit of a legitimate gripe so this could turn ugly.

Geez from Ake to Koulibaly.

Talk about an upgrade

I still regard Man United’s decision to sign Harry Maguire instead of Koulibaly as one of their biggest ever transfer bungles. I just hope for his sake he hasnt come to the Premier League too late.

United have pulled the pin on the Antony deal after Ajax bumped up the price by another €20m. Dont be surprised however if this gets revisited soon though. Antony was desperate for the move to Man United and is said to be royally pissed off at Ajax for slapping a completely unreasonable price tag on him. Might get him cheap in the final weeks of the window or in January.
