marathon not a sprint

i started the year conceding 10 goals and we were dead last - now have the most clean sheets and one game away from a grand final

I’m in too. Matt, are we allowing a fresh start or should we make Snowy make up the 2 point gap?

I watched the game Flanno, it certainly was a scrappy win but not surprised, we had 7-8 of our main players out, debuted a few of our reserve players because of that & it was pouring down rain the whole game. A win is a win & more then happy with that, even better with a clean sheet, already just 1 less then we had last year haha.

Pepe, Luiz, Ozil, Laca, Bellerin, Tierney, Holding, Sead, Toreirra all out,, Pepe & Ceballos managed to get 20 off the bench though, didnt make much of an impact because we mainly played down the left & they played more on the right.

Once all these guys get back & play together, form combos we should be able to play rather well & exciting football.

Yeah nice, things are sounding much more upbeat for you this season. I saw the highlights, who is the guy that set Auba up for the goal? That was great play.

That was AMN, Ainsley Maitland Niles, only 21, he's usually a CM but versatile like Capewell so he is filling in a rb until Bellerin returns. Yes I liked that & impressed with his reading of the game & interception then his cross to Auba. He was probably equal motm to Auba.

We are only allowed 2 transfers/trades per week in NRL supercoach, how many trades is it in PL fantasy before deadline day each week?

It’s usually 1 free trade per week, but if you don’t use any one week it’ll go up to 2 free trades the next week. But it doesn’t go any higher than 2 free trades. You can also make as many trades as you want beyond those free trades, but they’ll deduct 4 fantasy points for each additional trade.

Also, keep in mind you have the following to use any stage throughout the season (but only once):

Bench boost- your bench points count for this round
Free hit- you can change your entire team for one round at no cost. It will then revert to your previous team the round after
Triple captain- your selected captain gets 3x the points rather than 2
Wildcard- you can change your entire team without any cost. Difference between this and a free hit, is that this team will remain for the ensuing rounds

Hope that helps

Thanks mate, that will help a fair bit, I'll read the rules every now & then aswell, on a positive I've got 38 rounds this time to understand the rules hahaha. I just have to make sure I take out Ozil this week unfortunately, he's off the squad aswell as Sead for now for their safety, being attacked by a few gangs.

I see the new goalkeeper restrictions for penalties have already reared its head. Adrian was well off the line during the penalty he saved, Abraham should of been given a retake. They can’t do much about it now but it’ll be interesting how this rule is handled going forward.
