Big year ahead with lots of questions to be answered.

• Will anyone break the City/Liverpool top 2?
• Will Liverpool finally break their Premier League drought?
• How will Frank Lampard handle the step up to manage Chelsea?
• WTF is going on at Arsenal?
• Will Manchester United slide even further? Or will the younger roster surprise a few critics? Will Ole justify the faith shown in him by the United board and fans?
• Tottenham have finally spent some money. Will it get them near City and Liverpool?
• Wolves have had significant investment in their squad the past few years, will they finally break away from the mid table pack?
• Will we see a Leicester revival this year? They’ve made some solid signings.
• Who will slide the furthest?
• Will the new teams stay up?

Big year ahead boys, let’s enjoy it.

I’ll have a go at this and see how silly I look at the end of the season:

- No one to break City/Liverpool top 2
- No, City will win again, this time by a bigger margin
- Lampard will do ok, will be hovering around 4th/5th and will guide them to the quarterfinals of CL
- Unless Arsenal make some good first team signings between now and the start of the season, they will do **** all and finish 6th or 7th
- Man Utd to improve, possibly finish in 4th and have a run in the Europa League. Depends if you make more signings between now and the start of the season.
- Tottenham will consolidate, will finish 3rd and maybe push Liverpool for 2nd. Eliminated at quarters of CL, but will win the FA Cup
- Wolves could beat Arsenal to 6th if they sign some more quality players. Definitely top 8.
- Leicester to finish top 10
- Arsenal to slide further, but Newcastle to really slide and get relegated
- Norwich and Villa to stay up. Brighton, Newcastle and Sheff Utd to go down

What do you make of my team lads? I'm going to bring in Pulisic for McNeil for the 2nd round as I still have cash to spare.

My table predictions, top 4 & relegated 3 are in no particular order

City
Liverpool
Arsenal
Tottenham

Sheffield United
Brighton/Burnley
Aston Villa/Norwich

Those 4 bottom ones are tough to pick from so I've just gone with one definate for now. With this new signing of Pepe I think Arsenal may make a statement this year & this could be the year for them to get back in to the CL. Considering Chelsea have lost Hazard their key player from last season & got a new young manager in they could be in for a bit of a rebuilding phase now.

I know your being a bit biased with your top 4, but I don’t think Arsenal finish ahead of Spurs.

Haha mate I'm not trying to be biast at all, I just think a guy like Pepe as do a lot of people can do a huge deal for Arsenal, someone we have missed for years now. Think about it, a front line of Auba, Laca, Ozil (at his best) Pepe could do a fair bit. Chelsea have lost Hazard, got a new young manager as much as he was a top player for them. It might take time for him (Lampard) to get into it a bit.

I never said we would, no doubt City, Liverpool & probably Spurs would, I still reckon we may just beat Chelsea & Man United to the 4th spot.
