First hurdle well and truly cleared.

Big win certainly. However the City game is the truly big one. I think City will win at the Etihad and then it will be very tight again, back to 4 points. Would give City a psychological boost too.

So City move back to within 4 points now. Lovren showed he’s not up to these standard of games.

De Gea, what a beast! Quite the resurgence happening at Utd now. Top 4 a real possibility.

if city dont spend 100 million this window the title race will be one of the most exciting i can remember

however, they are said to be signing 3 players including a world class left back

Thanks Snowman, I was talking to myself for a bit there!

On your comment, even if they do (which I doubt very much) I still think it will be tight. Let’s not forget their squad is already incredible so it’s pretty hard for them to strengthen it. The fact Liverpool are ahead of them is crazy. Klopp has done an unbelievable job!

Fullham were the most impressive team for mine on the weekend. Managed to score three goals and lose.

their squad is incredible but fullbacks let them down

kyle walker has regressed and mendy is an injury prone social media merchant

if they buy people this window and add to their depth they are in pole position for the title

Hard to argue with any of that. Which wing backs have they been linked with? It’s the type of position you don’t need to spend a lot to get a good one. Look at Robertson, signed for 8mil and is absolute class, best wing back in the league for mine.

I wonder if that Fulham v Burnley statistic has ever been replicated. Incredible.

Yep. Ole’s on a dream run. I think they’ve given the top 4 too much of a head start though. Catching Arsenal is on he cards though.

Utd at home to Brighton and Chelsea away to Arsenal. Could possibly be 3 pts after this weekend.

What is happening at Arsenal, there is certainly something happening behind the scenes between Emery & Ozil, he doesnt even get picked over Iwobi against WH & look what happens lol. Why is he picking 5 defenders & 3 more on the bench, we should be attacking against WH & showing no intent at all! I'm sick of this back 3 thing he's got going, we have no creativity for our attackers at all!

you hated wenger as well mate, turns out the grass sint greater
I didnt hate him at all mate haha, I had huge respect for him & for what he's done for Arsenal in his prime years but just thought it was time for a change after not making the CL 2-3 years in a row.

I thought Emery was going to be good for us after the 22 game unbeaten run but since then he's done funny formations that arent working, playing too many defenders against mid table & bottom teams we should be attacking heaps against. He's playing a young winger Iwobi centrally (Who I do like) but dropping Ozil our best creative player for him. We played so dull & boring against WH because of this. It's only early days so I'm willing to give him a year or 2 though.

sessengong is one, but fulham wont sell until they are relegated

they have been linked with a guy from portugese league, cant remember but his stats mirror robbos

meanwhile, we let clyne go on loan and TAA is now injured

i love klopp, but he hasn't got a january/summer break right since he has been here

but emery has never been an attacking manager

in fact, he sells his strikers when they bang goals in

emerys successful seasons were on the back of kondogbia and other defenders putting up a wall and then countering

his beef with ozil is justified as well - for all of ozils attacking brilliance, he us one lazy ****er, never tracks back, never defends, compare him to roberto firmino, who ends up playing as a third centre back from striker on occasions

Sessegnon wouldn’t worry me at all. Not sure who the other player is? I’ve also heard City have missed out on signing Frenkie de Jong, he’s supposedly off to PSG.

That was unfortunate timing but Fabinho can fill in there (he actually plays RB for Brazil) and Milner is more than capable. We also have 4 games against teams outside of the top 6 in that period so we should still be ok without Clyne.
