When you’re up against a side like Man City who record 100 points, I really don’t think it could be considered as “blowing the title” if Liverpool don’t win it.

Does anyone actually rate United a chance at getting Pochettino? Why would he leave Spurs for United? He’s got a good thing going there and he’d basically be giving up a Champions League club for a rebuild job. I’d be stunned if he actually left. I’m surprised they didn’t just hire Zidane and be done with it.

They’re in front of them at the moment.
Yeah we are mate by 1 point despite being on 45 points from 17 games and thus on track for 100 points. If we are to get 90+ points and lose out you can’t call it a choke.

As for Pochettino... I think Utd have a slim chance if Spurs don’t back him in the market.

i dont think you can say liverpool have blown it if they dont win the league 17 games into the season

keep in mind, this manchester city team is the greatest team every assembled in the premier league era

as for pochetino, i think you have a great shot at him. yes tottenham are a better side, yes they are higher in the table, but the glitz and glamour would be appealing, although man united is very toxic

you'd also think alli and kane would follow suit

i found it funny though, a man united fan was saying on sky he didnt want klopp as he hadn't won a trophy in england, but was banging on about poch, who has never won a trophy..... anywhere

Alright alright. Fair enough boys. Perhaps “blowing it” might be a tad unfair. Even so, I think this might be your best chance in years, good luck keeping pace with City though.

Virgil is absolutely amazing, what a performance. Wolves impressed me today, they press very well and have some dangerous players. You can see why the give the big sides trouble. Liverpool has to really earn the victory tonight. Salah also well and truly back to his best.

5 goals. Not a bad first game in charge aye?
First time since Ferguson that Utd have scored 5 in a game too. Decent chance for Utd to go on a bit of a run now, decent fixture list ahead.

City are crashing and burning. If Liverpool get any further ahead of second then I’d actually does start getting into “choke” territory if they lose it. I know what we were talking about a week ago, but things have changed with City hitting a wall.

Liverpool have got Arsenal then City, so let’s see how things stand after that. Still a long way from “choke” territory.

Getting there though. Like I said, you get another 1 or 2 games ahead, then it’s yours to lose.

Not even remotely close

19 games to go

Spurs have lost 4, City 3, why is it a choke if we lose a couple of games when there is 19 to go?

City are still favourites

Bookies have Liverpool at $1.70 and City $2.60.
