Welcome to Emu Plains, please be sure to visit our
new thread for the new season

starting with the silly season

Sir Alex Ferguson is said to be preparing a £28 million plus Dimitar Berbatov to land Wolfsburg forward Edin Dzeko. The Scot is also keen to sign Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi.

Everton midfielder Mikel Arteta's agent has confirmed United's interest in his client. United are also said to be preparing a £15m bid to land Jack Rodwell from Everton. (Sun)

Ben Foster has completed his move to Birmingham City for an undisclosed fee, believed to be £4m up front and rising to £6m in add-ons.

PLEASE be true about Dzeko, one of my fav players outside United [would make my 2 Wolfsburg jersies pointless but who cares]

Peach looks like you (and Sir Alex) could be out of luck...looks like he is about to sign on the dotted line with moneybags Madrid? :p

if you want to win things, come to united

if you want to ruin your career, go to Madrid or City

What about Robhino from man city peach? Wasnt he suppose to be the best in the world?

he was good but not one of the best, thats what happens when you go to City

Still too early to vote. I'll wait for the Silly Season to wind down before casting my vote.

Goal is a very unreliable source. If I put down everyone that 'Pool are linked with there would be enough for 2 pages of dribble. Only strong rumour I have heard is Roman Pelvychenko (Spelling is most likely wrong). Also, Steven Ireland rumour is getting a bit of a roll-on now.

What you have to know about soccer rumours are, they are usually rumours more times than not. Very annoying.

Danny Wilson from rangers is close to signing, Palermo's Simon Kjær is also keen on a move to us, we just have to make it happen.

Well, that is the end of Rafa. Should be an interesting season next season. I do not think we are going to make a single signing, who wants to come to a club that hasn't got a manager at the moment and is being sold. Gonna be a long season for Liverpool.... You'll Never Walk Alone!!!

What a sad day this is for Liverpool FC, those two American cowboys have got rid of the right man to lead us, and are running our proud club to nothing, I hope the anti-rafa brigade are *****ing happy now, if you think we're in a bad state now, without Rafa, these times will look like the golden years.
YNWA Rafa.

While I wasn't the biggest fan of Rafa, with his resources last season he didn't do too bad of a job. We had one striker than N'gog. No money and owners who don't care. It is killing me to watch this happen to my club, I just want someone with some passion and money for the club.

sad day for all those that wanted Rafa in the job :p

Yep, that's me! As a lifelong Chelsea fan that must've seen Rafa ship between 10-15 points against us thanks to perplexing brainfarts, I must admit, I was dissapointed by the news of his sacking. I'd have rather Drogba gone down for the season ;)

hahahahahaha Rafa the right man..delusional

sad day for all those that wanted Rafa in the job :p

Bloody hell you dribble like theres no tomorrow, with the right backing from the very top, Rafa would of gone down with the likes of Shankly, Paisley and Fagan, but those two bloody american cowboys made his job hell and no manager in the world could of succeeded in these circumstances.

YANKS OUT
