he is out of contract and wont sign because of lack of trophies, he rejected there last offer and is stalling

Van Persie doesnt come off contract till 2011. Man u would still have to pay a fair bit to get Arsenal to let go off him.

Its almost as funny as Manu or Chelsea thinking 40-50 Mil is enough to get Torres out of Anfield.

holy sh!t a man u fan who actually likes Berbatov, if you listened during games towards the end of the season, united fans were booing himthe guy is lazy and slow, i want someone with energy who works for the ball like rooney, not someone who stands in one spot and expects it at his feetcant believe chiteh forked out 18 mill for RSC, blackburn ceo must be laughing..i hope we do go after Van Persie, he wants to win titles, Le'Arse dont win f*ck all..i also hope we get benzema, him and rooney would be a dream, hope berbatov likes the bench
Maybe some Utd fans were booing him but they would have been in a small minority.* I can't vouch for the feeling back home, but over here the majority of Utd fans rate Berba.* He may look lazy and slow, but the same thing was said about Sheringhamin his first season and look what he did the following years. If you watch Berba during a game he holds the ball up so well and is almost impossible to knock off it. With Rooney back through the centre and possibly Benzema as well, the forward line is shaping well.
Van Persie is a possibility apparently but it will be hard to get him away from the Arse.
Latest here is that Alonso may be off to Madrid for £30 mill and Arbeloa as well. Also Mascehrano is batting his eyelids at both Real and Barca, who are prepeared to double his wages to get him on board.
Midfield for me is another area we need to strengthen. Trust the Wizard. He's been doing it for 23 years now. He'll know what's needed. :)

Rushden youngster joins Liverpool

Rushden and Diamonds youth team striker Aaron King has completed a move to Liverpool for an undisclosed fee.
King, 16, joined the Blue Square Premier side at age 11. He begins a two-year scholarship with Liverpool on 6 July following a successful trial.
Rushden's head of youth Paul Driver told the club website: "We are all absolutely thrilled for Aaron.
"This is a brilliant achievement for everyone involved in his development in the five years he has been with us."
King becomes the third player in the last two seasons to move from Rushden's youth system to a Premier League club, after Paris Cowan-Hall and Callum Reynolds who joined Portsmouth.
"His progress with us to get to the level where one of the 'big four' is prepared to offer him a scholarship also serves as further evidence of how well we have maintained our system, despite the withdrawal of financial support from the football authorities in the past two seasons," added Driver.
Rushden and Diamonds youth team will play a "Diamonds Legends" team on Sunday 2 August to help raise funds for the club's youth set-up.

Theres our 2nd purchase.

Third infact, We got a young spanish guy called Jesus Fernadez ( I believe thats the spelling, I know his first name is Jesus.)

Rafa said a "mind Blowing" Bid would have to be in place to get rid of Alonso. Arbie can fuk off he is ****, and we have Johnson now! Barca offered 35 mil for Masch and Liverpool denied it, I believe we want 45 mil or 35 mil and A young bloke at barca ( whose name escapes me at this point, Last name start with T.. Toure or something)

Hmmmm....I dunno Dier. There's a feeling that Alonso may in fact be going and £30 mill will do the trick. Don't forget, Rafa almost got rid of him last season and he is said to be open to the idea to raise some funds. Mascherano could be down to whether he listens to his wife or not. She fancies a move to Spain apparently.
I presume you mean YaYa Toure? Kolo's little brother?
I can tell you that the Anfield yanks have agreed a refinancing deal with the banks so the wolves will be kept from the door for a little longer. Shame really..... :D

Yer but that was before Alonso great season this year, he meant as much to this club as Torres and Gerrard. 30 mil will not do it, no way! I think for 35 mil plus toure I would be waving good bye to Masch, With that money would could get a replacement for him, and get Silva in our line up!

We shall see. As I've said before, it's all paper talk at the moment and the print media here will print any old story to try and sell a paper. By the way, have you seen Newcastle's new away strip? Google it, but I warn you, you WILL need sunglasses. :)

You sure you're not thinking of the 5-2 spurs game where the spurs supporters were obviously booing him. We'll agree to disagree on Berba then. As for your list, Valencia from Wigan is pretty much a done deal (though pricey at £17 mill.)
We have put out the feelers about Casillas apparently. Class GK and a ready made replacement for VDS.
Ribery is no way worth the stupid prices Bayern are quoting. He'll probably end up at Real anyway.
I'd love Villa but he'll only move within Spain and we look to have the front running for the young brazillian Costa. (the new Ronaldo they're calling him -great! we do all the ground work only for Madrid to take him when he actually gets any good.)
Out of all of them, Benzema is young, has all the skills, big and strong and best years ahead of him. Sort it Fergie... :D

Yeah sorry i'd forgotten about Jesus.
Liverpool have stolen a march on Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona and secured the services of highly-rated Cadiz teenager Jesus Fernandez Saez, nicknamed Suso, according to Setanta Sports.

The broadcaster is reporting that Rafa Benitez's outfit have beaten the two La Liga sides to the 16-year-old's signature, with the midfielder signing a five year deal at the club.

Benitez has reportedly been monitoring the midfielder's progress for the last few months, and, with both Barca and Real apparently hovering with intent, he will be pleased to have snapped up another of his compatriots to further boost the strong Hispanic contingent on Merseyside.

Liverpool will pay a compensation fee to Cadiz, although no figure has been specified as yet. But it is anticipated that the Reds will pay much more than the amount officially required to take over the player's academy contract.

The signing should be confirmed by the club in the next few days.
