should delete old threads, like from pages 7 onwards

and merge duplicate threads

and delete threads noone has touched or have like only 5 replies

and go through old threads in the social forum

I agree with 1 thread for the weeks round which contains all pre-match, in game and post-match chat. Make it a sticky for the weekend. We don't need a thread for every player though, thats making organized clutter. If its relevant to the week's match (which most likely it will be) just put it in the dedicated thread and let discussion flow.

I don't necessarily agree with deleting old posts from 7 pages on, perhaps if people double checked there wasn't already a thread to do with what they're about to post, it'd be a bit neater. An archive of old threads can be useful if used properly.

Once again, good work GW for raising the issue. This intervention is long overdue I reckon. And the place will be better off for it.

What the **** happened to cutting the duplicate threads?

We've got 2 or 3 threads dedicated to who is gonna skipper the team this week. Another 2 or 3 dedicated to who'll take on the kicking duties. God knows how many with the team line up. And to top it off Peachey went to the trouble to make a dedicated thread for all this, then someone even made it a sticky topic and its been overlooked a half dozen times.
