Educated comments....Please

I am sorry guys, and this is in no way pointing the finger at anyone or meant to be negative (even though it comes out this way) but I am totally frustrated by some of the poor comments/threads/duplications of threads/jibber that has occupied this site the last few months. By no means am I saying that all people should p*ss off or anything but it seems to me as though we have several people on here that just talk pure crap, start duplications of threads already listed, have stupid one line replies, have un-educated and stupid comments, opinions. no-one is perfect and neither am I or claim to be ( I am sure some of you have thought the same about my comments) but we seem to have an influx of 12 yr olds on here (or so it seems) with no f*cking idea on actual footy and what is involved or what it takes to run a team, play as a team, play hard, train hard, make hard decisions, coach a team and compete on the footy field.

All I am saying is, can everyone on here really think about what they are writing and look at it from more views then just their own. Or at least reply with some substance behind it and supporting evidence.

I agree with you mate, there are some absolutely rubbish threads on here and its annoying spending time reading them when you think they are about something useful

Yeah, your right mate. Especially on the thread duplications. There is often 3 threads about the upcoming match on the weekend. Then another 4 bitching about the loss.

The opened one line comments are getting beyond a joke. Its even more painful when the sentence is then added to with more crap in the post directly below.

Couldnt agree more, I only ever post on this site because I cant stand the other alternative on league unlimited where its dominated by a bunch of narcisistic losers who pretend to love the sharks but forever concentrate on the negatives. I respect everyone's view but just lately I think the panic has started to set in and there has been some ridiculous posts that just waste our time. Lets all get behind our sharks no matter what happens for the rest of the year.

My hubby has actually stopped participating in discussions here and even visiting because of some of the nonsense. I guess I have a little more time on my hands.
We visit this site because it is nice to share the views of other Sharks supporters. Venting is one thing but the constant negativity and sometimes childish remarks have been wearing thin. Nothing against teenagers or younger fans but some of us are beyond it.
Agree with teflon77, we need to get behind our team focus on the good and support them no matter what - win or lose. Go Sharks!

Good call GW. These forums are for all Sharks fans young and old but let's try and make sure the discussion remains informed and doesn't become overly negative in nature - due to the club's lack of success over the years it's not always easy being a supporter, and it can be pretty depressing at times to come on here especially after a loss and read all of the negative comments. By all means let us be critical but let's do so in a constructive manner, after all each and every one of us want the same thing and that is on-field success, so let's not continually bag the players or coaching staff just for the sake of it. I realise that no-one wants to be accepting of mediocrity, but being a true fan to me is unconditional - we continue to support our team through good times and bad, after every win, loss or draw.

yeh he still checks up occasionally for any Sharks goss, can't stay away completely! I love my footy - and there is no other than the Sharks, even when they play shyte! It's not called Sharks Forever for nothing you know

i think im guilty of it, i started a thread a couple of weeks ago, about making peachy boss of the site, it was complete jibber, but it was my way of venting our recent losses.
its good to see G/W keeping us all in line.
maybe we could label those threads with a rubbish stamp.

Well said Great White... I couldn't agree more.. The reason I logged on to this site was to discuss decent issues with a group of people with the same desire - TO SEE OUR GREAT CRONULLA SHARKS BE SUCCESSFUL!!! If we as supporters can be positive and converse positively on all threads, lets hope that it rubs off in other areas and see a happy supporter base, supporting the best team in the NRL!!
So let's get behind our boys and bring it home this year!!!
