This might be a hot take, but I'm starting to wonder whether signing Dale was the right call. Not because he's ****, he does his job well without being a guy who makes big plays. More because I don't know if we need to have both him and Cam. They seem to play a very similar role, and both have been talked about in the same light off the field.

I wonder if we had Cam starting at 13 and pumping out 60 or so minutes, whether we still would have seen the same culture shift with him and Fitz, plus had a bit more cash available for a dominant prop or other position upgrades.

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, as he is a warhorse, and had a very interrupted year last year. Hopefully he can find that extra bit of sting and grunt he had at Melbourne, as we really need it consistently.

If Fitz's plan was to walk in & have a fair dinkum tilt at the title right away you're probably right. To build, drive & maintain a culture that sets you up for longterm success he's perfect.

I actually think the opposite and that we shouldn't have got Cam. But I know what you mean.

What happened in the second half. Correct me if I am wrong, but he came on with what, 13-16 min to go? What was that all about.

Anyone else notice one of the Souths players throw a few sneaky punches under his jaw, disguised by clenching his jersey?

Fine line.

Its insane that we dont start Cam at 13. FInucane to prop. So props would be BHU, Toby, Fincuane, Kaufusi, Hunt. Williams takes other bench spot.

Grahams role then becomes pre game, half time motivational speaker.

Much to the same effect as Mel Gibson played in Braveheart. "They will never take our FREEDOM".

Cam was bought and then they changed the rules, so that screwed us over a little. Having said that, if we can carry him at 14 with 3 big boppers on the bench I can see it working better.

I think we need two actual props and them someone like Williams.

Agree on the last part. He will have a lasting affect on these young guys coming through the ranks

Not bad, I'll keep Kaufusi and Williams though.

The knives are out for Brailey this year.

Think hes continually underperformed and underwhelmed for a couple of seasons now.
Even more so when you look at the way Cook ripped us apart yesterday, and thats what were all expecting week in week out from Brailey but he fails to deliver
