Huge problem that they can't use previous uncharged tackles as evidence.

Because 99% of players pleed guilty there just isn't enough evidence for the defence.
Why weren’t they allowed to use them as evidence?

I heard Gal on radio tonight saying that they were discussing at the club this morning previous head clashes like the one in 2014 GF, but because no one was charged, they weren't allowed to use it as evidence as it wasn't like for like.

Apparently it's part of the MRC rules. You cannot use any video footage unless it's part of a previous MRC charge.

They don't want clubs to show 100 tackles of similar instances to get off. Would make them look even more stupid then they already are.

Just like the defence can't use an excuse that a player wasn't injured to get off a high tackle charge but they can use it to prove negligence on their part.

In some part you want this to backfire the NRL and some degree the Panthers for Ivan’s carry on in the presser. Imagine Yeo or someone destructive in their pack cops this later on.

But I’m also sick of this crap in the NRL

Isn’t that the point thou.

Those 100 tackles similar or same which ended with NO CASE to answer!

Nah **** the NRL. Let it get swallowed up it's own ******** now as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not sure who the target audience is for this product now but but it ain't me anymore. I'm a Sharks bludger of a season short of turning it off.

Just cut out the middle man and outlaw all tackles above the belly button.

I hope it burns someone again, but spiteful but look at this week in the NRL

I get ya mate, I’ve turned right down. Used to watch anything NRL now it’s only Sharks and this year for different circumstances I’m out of reception a fair bit because of traveling.

But the way it’s going it won’t be long before it’s a version of oz tag where it may be grab them for a little wrestle then go but no sprinting in off the back fence at each other.

Yeh but you can't tackle below the thighs either because if the defenders head hits the knees surely the ball runner will have a case to answer to!

I guess between the lower buttocks to navel is ok. Only side on tackles allowed though because what happens if your shoulder hits their testicles?

Jesus I don't know anymore.

This is the next frontier in ****ing the game up; charging the bloke getting hunted & smashed by a pack of defenders if one of them hurt themselves on him.

A player on my team has been penalised 3 times this year for running too hard. True story.
