I thought you can either plead guilty and contest the grading, or plead not guilty and contest the charge?

And there's no consistency in a ref's game from the 5th minute to the 75th minute, there's no chance of consistency at the judiciary level.

I thought so too but I guess maybe panel can determine guilt but also determine they felt charge was wrong? There determination rather than request from us?

Or maybe you could always challenge grading at same time?

Really should have just called it grade 1 slap on the wrist be more careful next time. We won’t fight it and they don’t paint themselves into big charges for head clashes.

So according to an NRL counsel - sprinting out of the line quickly or at pace is reckless and careless conduct and puts the ball carrier in danger.
Does this bloke even know what Rugba Leeeg is ??

Obviously our lack of line speed under Morris/Hannay was just a considerate safety measure to protect opposition players from injury

For my player it was a choice between...

Plead not guilty = 0 weeks or 3 weeks
Contest grading + early plea = 1 week or 3 weeks
Early plea = 2 weeks

Took the early plea.

I think it'll still be based on the way the contact was initiated. They're looking to stamp out the 'reckless' kamakazi defensive plays that result in accidental head clashes or HIA's (I reckon he'd probably have been charged if Crichton had bashed his head on the ground and had to leave the field).

If Dale ws standing in the defensive line and the same thing had happened I don't think anyone would be talking about it.

And according to the MRC running quickly is three times more dangerous a thing to do in Rugba Leeeg than intentionally raising a forearm into someone's head when you run at them

(I know a Grade 3 isn't specifically 'three times worse' than a Grade 1, but you get my point)

Woods has a career in coaching ahead of him in todays game.

Yet we celebrated Origin 3 like we are the toughest game in the world.

If that happens this week players will get suspended.

It's beyond a joke now, the game is fast becoming Oztag. I struggle to watch any games now.

You can't play tough, hard, unforgiving football anymore. The "new" rules and officiating is against the spirit of Rugby League - I'm done.

Nice knowing some of you blokes.
