This week we travel to Hull to take on Hull KR whos we have also drawn in the fourth round of the Challenge Cup . We go again without the services of Jace Van Dijk and top try scorer Tony Duggan in what will be Crusaders 100th serious game and we will be looking for our 600th try as we are teetering on 599 having failed to score a try against Saints ...will be a very tought game and I dont really expect to come home with the points but hey stranger things have happened lol and besides I wann be there when we chalk up our first Super league win:):)

Well what can I say ....keeping up with our 100% record of having lost all games as we went down to a thumping defeat away at Hull KR 48 - 18...things didnt look to bad at half time we were playing quite well and went into the break only 16 - 12 down but after the break they cut loose ..seemed everytime they kicked at us they bloody scored...so back to the drawing board for Johnny Dixon before next weeks home game with Wakefield on Sunday ....so with this game being shown Live on Sky Sports over here at 7pm our time would u get it live or highlights on Monday

Right then my antipodean mates this week we entertain the Wildcats from Wakefield the match will be live on Sky over here and for a strange reason (think its got summat to do with Wales v Ireland 6 nations decider tonight) we have been give a god awful slot of Sunday night ko at 7 pm ...now of course i dont mind cos im still off work sick but wouldnt expect to see many Wakey fans cos by the game they get home could be 1am ...but hey ho...anyway only injury doubt that im aware of is still skipper jace van Dijk so as this commentator says .....great chance of winnin this week ...but hey i seem to say that every week :)

Well today chaps I was hoping to come on here to explain how we won our first Super league game, but i find myself coming on to tell you I saw today what I hope anyone else doesnt have to see. The weather was nice here in wales today so I thought I would go along early to watch the reserves ( Toyota Cup Standard I think u have ) which was being played just few mins from Brewery Field , a game that did not finish as after a tacckle with nothing out of the ordinary happeneing young Wakefield back rower leon Walker (20) collapsed after a bit it became obvious it was serious as they performed CRP and the Air Ambulance airlifted him to hospital , but sadly the poor kid didnt make it and was pronounced dead on arrival. So as you can imagine the Crusaders v Wakey first grade match was postponed as mark of respect. just puts it all into perspective really doesnt it we watch the game we love type away about daft things and slag people off and praise others but at the end of the day its just a bloody game and this poor kid died doing something he loved and we love watching

This week we travel to warrington for the first of three away games on the trot...still without captain Jace van Dijk I would have fancied our chances of turning them over a couple of weeks ago as they were playing very poorly but seemed to buck the trend last week with a victory so we shall see I just hope we play for the full 80 mins and not have a dodgy 20 where ppl tend to score a stack of points against us.............. just a footnote the post mortem on leon walker states that his death was not as a result of anything to do with Rugby league but no official cause of death has been said as yet

Gutted ......what can I say we played really well again this week and still went down to a defeat at Warrington. In a close game we went behind to first score of the day when Grix went over ,but then found ourselves 12 - 6 up with tries fron Blackwood and Withers both converted bu the Mighty Hannay then back came Wolves with some numpty scorin lol but then we went ahead agin through Dyer and the kick from hannay but back came Wolves again to level it ...then Mighty Josh went in for try but hit post with the kick ...but in last 15 back came wolves to kill us off...GUTTED surely we will win soon

Well so ends our interest in the Challenge Cup this year with a defeat at Hull Kr by 32 - 6 now i know i keep saying this but we are getting better week by week and this week we came up against the best Hull KR performance so far this season according to their coach Justin Morgan again we kept it tight for long periods of the game and the score looks more of a sound beating due to two tries late late on when we were trying more audatios moves to get back into the game ...Morgan says thats the best that a team has played up there this term and we made a significant improvement to the last time we were there in the SL 3 weeks ago...so please please bear with me folks cos im damn sure that soon i will be reporting on our first SL victory ..........thats if anyone still reads my rantings from here in the UK anymore ???

Right then start of a busy few days over the easter period...firstly we travel to the Galpharm Stadium to take on Huddersfield tonight and then Easter monday we are at home to Harlequins....I dont expect we will get much joy at Huddersfield as they are a much improved team this season and have been playing well but Monday well things are looking a bit more optimistic for our first win so fingers legs arms eyes etc all crossed that Tues morn i will be reporting on that elusive first win in Super league

So close but yet so far this was a game we looked like we may just win ...we went into the break leading 16 - 12 and were playing quite well but after the break castlefords SL prowess came to the fore and they managed to nick the points Ryan O hara had a cracking game for us as did Mashall Chalk along with Jason Chan but we just ran out of steam ....................one day lads one day eh
