I remember.. I have followed the boys since 1981 and remember watching teams that consisted 2nd graders like Leo Tanoi, Denis Fricot, David Harris, Glenn Steele, Jim Leis, Grag Carbery, Stuart Topper and so on

I agree with ya about the quality of our team in the early 90's.

I reckon we had worse teams in 91,92,93 than we did in 09,10,11 - but the difference these days is there are NO easy games.

In the early 90's it didn't matter how **** we were - there were games against Balmain, Souths, Gold Coast and the like where there was an easy 2 points. Especially if we were at home.

You don't get that these days.

I think the difference is , crowds will fall , memberships will fall , tv publicity will fall or be negative , sponsorship dollars will be even harder to come by , the development will only take us so far.

Don't mean to be picky but the term "rank and file" is actually determining the loyal and membership paying fans.
