DI's statement was accurate in its context. However as a Sharks supporter it was extremely irresponsible for Buzz to write a piece like that and as a journalist it was extremely amateurish for him to take one line and twist it into an agenda driven story.

The divisions that are creeping into our amazing club through agenda based bias by all parties may be unrepairable if things are not halted ASAP. The bickering being played out in the media (headlined by the Daily Telegraph) portrays our club as extremely unstable and I for one have had a gutful. Come next week when results are known it will be time to leave agendas at the door and time to move forward as one. Please let this happen.

PS I am not an Irvine fan, I am not a Keogh fan, I am not a Rothfield fan and nor am I a Gallen fan.... I am a Cronulla Sharks fan first and foremost and that is the way it will always be.

Totally totally agree !

Fitz, which Bolderman was DI referring to when he said "I honestly think dunphy, keogh and a boldeman would be awesome additions to the board". I assume Andrew

I assume Andrew too but there is no way I'd vote for either of them.

Question:

Who is more important to the Canterbury Bulldogs, Todd Greenburg or Ben Barba?

Wow that's a little disingenuous.

Are you saying that Gallen's role, contributions and importance to the club is on a par with Barba's at Canterbury?

Who was more important to Newcastle? Andrew Johns or Michael Nesbitt

How about Brisbane? Darren Lockyer or Dennis Watt

Cam Smith or the same Mr Watt at Melbourne?

You could cherry pick all day to come up with uneven contests...like Barba and Greenberg

i reckon all our board members that saved our club FOR FREE, are more important than our captain. or carney. or flanno.

Or the whole playing staff put together. I'd much rather support a team of 2nd graders, then no team at all. Without the help from Douglas, we'd have the latter.

players come and go but our board is the driving force. I don't want any player telling me who I should or shouldn't vote for.

All great sporting organisations start at the front office. It's that simple.

Except Melbourne cause they won comps but their Front Office Cheated. Or Brisbane they won comps but didn’t have to budget because News Ltd funded them. Or Manly who continue to do well even though they board and management are constantly fighting with each other.

Might have a hand in their success actually.

The club is divided in every aspect. For the the love of your club, pull your nomination, the club comes first DI. You are the scapegoat, wear it.

Why? If he is the scapegoat and you have no confidence that he will regain his position on the board, leave it up to the members to decide. It can't hurt.

I agree, if voting was realistically available to ALL members far and wide. But, due to the constitution, not everyone qualify.

Voted tonight.

McConnell made a c$&@ of himself.

Gorrick is a bloody nice bloke, very articulate, seems to have his head well and truly around the challenges ahead.

I hope he gets on.

What did he do / say Shark

Greeted me with a politician's smile and mistook me for one of his supporters. When I politely declined to accept his leaflet he thrust it at me and made a comment under his breath I couldn't quite hear. I still didn't take his leaflet!

Gorrick is the goods, for anyone yet to vote.

Better candidates than Gorrick

Maybe but gorrick would be a very worthwhile addition to the board and seriously worthy of a vote,

The guy is a mover , with big contacts as well as having his head screwed on correctly , smart man , background in elite sport , father was a director for over 25 years (iirc)

He got my vote , I hope he gets on
