Fine, you can keep pumping your money into the club, thats how clubs operate on the back of mindless morons like yourself blinding giving them $ after $.
As for me, the club can go f**k itself and i honestly couldnt care less whether they finished top or bottom anymore.
We prefer the term 'fans'

Your right
Im done with this place too
You don't seem to be getting much out of it so probably a good call, best of luck, make a comeback if we start going well and you want on the bandwagon!

God help em when we go bad. I'm gonna guess the Tigers membership prices didn't get cheaper unlike their last place getting laster.

If 1st or last doesn't matter to ya you've got the makings of a solid fan funnily enough. But put that through a filter of anger & negativity it turns shitty like anything.

Look after yourself, @The Punisher

The absolute carry on because the club has upped the price of memberships (a total of $171 for the 3) is actually hilarious.

$171 barely fills a shopping basket anymore. The clubs operating costs, game day or otherwise are increasing like every single other business. Did you carry on at the Woolworths manager when you saw groceries going up? Im sure youve told at least one service station attendant you arent coming back again too.

Everythings going up in price, the only way to stay afloat is to charge more for what youre selling too. Thats inflation. Dont blame the club, blame society

I bumped into a fan on Saturday with a Sharks' singlet on so I said hi and asked how we're going to go next year. His response was "it couldn't be much worse".

Must have been a relatively new fan haha.
Yeah they're a miserable joke. Can't cop the woe is me crowd. Its just footy & it could be a lot worse. If you find no joy in it why keep it up? No ones forcing you to follow a footy side. They're just miserable ****s who'd boo Santa.

crossed paths with a bloke in Rome in a sharks hat.
I said Up Up and he said ‘huh?’

I said love the sharks hat and he said ‘what?’ and walked off

I’ve always been confused about choosing to take a hat to the other side of the world and seemingly not even knowing what was on it

I’ll admit that last sentence, whilst I think a genuine and fair question, not likely be taken well in most cases…

Agreeing a break could be a good idea but that he is welcome back wasn’t meant to insult the bloke who had just called us mindless morons haha
I've had worse... here 🤣

I've been going to Shark Park since 1980, unfortunately we've always had quiet crowds for whatever reason.

The toilets are terrible.

I really worry about our ground, like really worry. It's going to become dilapidated at a rapid rate without money being spent on it and I just can't see any government giving us much.
Should we sell the ground to that pizza dude and play out of Comm bank stadium?

Pretty much, plus having the lower crowds does affect the bottom line.
I do recall that for the club to make profit on game day the crowd must be greater than 10k; but i wouldn’t be surprised it has increased by a few thousand, which would be close to the cap.
I hope that the club is able to increase the attendance; so we can generate $$.

hey dude, you ok?

people arent mindless at all.

They buy a membership, go to a game not for being mindless Morons, they go to catch up with friends, have belief in the club, to switch off from their daily struggles, enjoyment, and the list goes on.

For me, I buy my membership to
a. support the club,
b. so I can see a few of these ugly mugs from here,
c. Shark Park and Cronulla -Sutherland Sharks have been that one consistent thing in my life that has been there always when I have moved around this country with work over my 40 odd yr life. (it’s my only place, I can call home).
d. See friends/loved ones (which links into point b.)

The Sharks Note to Members as I understand it:

Dear Members,

Well, here we are, trying to figure out what to do with this place we picked up at 94 Cronulla Street. Originally, we thought we'd have more to tell you at the Members Information Night on November 23, but, honestly, we're a bit stumped.

At the moment, our best idea is to put up a 'for lease' sign and let other folks take a crack at it. We hope this prevents anyone from worrying too much about what's going on with this Cronulla Street property.

We're still convinced that acquiring 94 Cronulla Street was a smart move, but as for what's next, it's a bit of a head-scratcher. We're letting the market have a say, and there's talk about possibly moving the Sharks Merchandise Store back to the new Leagues Club in Woolooware. But really, your guess is as good as ours.

For now, the Sharks Store will keep on chugging at its current spot in Sharks at Kareela, and, of course, you can always shop online.

Speaking of the Leagues Club in Woolooware, we're hoping our partners will clue us in on what to do next. And as for when it might open, well, we're not making any promises, but 2024 seems like a distant possibility.

Remember the Members Information Night, though, on November 23, from 6-8pm at Sharks at Kareela. If you want to RSVP, good luck finding that link!

Thanks for your patience and support as we navigate this slightly confusing journey.

Sincerely,
Dino Mezzatesta
This really worries me if they truly “don’t know what to do” with this shop front.

Pretty sure a few of us suggested to lease it out from the outset.

Not ****in rocket science

Yep. There's a lot more intricacies when defining "value" in a sport team membership. It goes beyond your hat & keychain. Different for a lotta people what they value it. If the cost exceeds the enjoyment you get or your "value" its up to you. If you still value it but can't afford it that sucks but if you've got room to cut a luxury like season membership from the budget you're in a good spot.

If you think your previous loyalty should entitle you to have the club protect you from rising costs & I dunno operate at a loss so you don't cop it is ****ing petulant crap. I trust you no longer buy from Woolies or Coles? Petrol? **** I bet your coffee costs more than it did last year

Ouch, into the name calling. You’re tough.

Sounds like the club has lost a very loyal fan. Not caring how they perform is a key indicator of this.

my reading of it.

we had a plan, and it was great just ask us.

but because someone bungled the roof of the new club (were all looking around for whoever did this) and now it isn't opening until jesus himself is resurrected, we need rental income.

anyway, the price of the brick going up.

Dino
