The name Harold Bishop is not in fact based on the male soap character, it's a combination of Harold Holt and Bronwyn Bishop.

It was a short exchange on the episode with the social media guy from the Sharks... episode before last maybe? Just caught my ear as it was about the club being short of cash or along those lines. They moved on pretty quickly
