Tracey has been immense at the back with his carries and defence, this is what Kennedy lacks.
Kennedy's carries have gotten a lot stronger this year. Tracey is busier but I'd argue Kennedy's returns have more impact.

I’m going to bet that Fitz is already thinking Connor plays centre next year, and Talakai becomes that backup edge player we’re missing plus being number 14. Because they can both play in that left centre position, it actually doesn’t matter which one plays 14, the options are the same. If Talakai has an off season playing in the back row, between the two of them they can cover every position in the team bar 9.

Really pleased for him. He’s had a thousand knee reco’s and spent way too much in NSW cup. He deserves something for the pool room.
If he was half the man Nicho was, he would have given Emerson the medal

Have to win it again to give one to the wife!

I don't begrudge Tracey keeping it at all (as I am sure you don't either), Nicho has a Dally M, he can afford to give some other medals away.
If a Cow won it and didn't hand over though I would have been judgemental haha

I feel sorry for Jed. Keeps rocking up in a Cows jersey, only to have Sharks gear on by the end of the night!

I dunno, we’ve tried him in that 14 role before haven’t we? Didnt really work.

I honestly dont know what to do with Connor next season, I feel Kennedy takes the spot back, he’s just too important to us.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a club offers him a fullback spot and he gets an early release.

Well actually it does matter because sifa is the better centre

We have a centre with the most try assists in that position who is excellent at bringing the ball back in our end and people want him chilling on the bench

Can't fathom it

Tracey at left centre literally was the plan last year until injuries reshuffled Sifa there and Sifa hasn’t let the spot go. So yeah, I’m with you, unless Tracey somehow blew him away for the spot in preseason it’s Sifas spot to lose.

The fact Sifa started there again this year and after a brief move has locked it back down suggests to me he’d have the inside running to hold it.

I wasn’t posting about Sifa, it’s not about him, I totally rate him. He was dropped though for Tracey at centre not many weeks back so he’s not a lock in that position. My thinking is that if Tracey is on the bench and comes on at centre for whatever reason, Sifa can move to the middle. For injury cover they can move around almost anywhere between them. It’s about having options in a game if we’re under the pump, injuries, whatever. And across a whole season we then have a guy who can cover a lot and is playing every week, as opposed to playing in NSW cup.

Our team is better with tracey in it, so how do we make that work.

My post was not an either or. I believe the 14 position is going to become more and more important in the future with the speed of the game now and injuries. The whole squad will become much more important. I think Fitz is actively moving in that direction too, but that’s just speculation on my part.

Having an awesome 17 that remain injury free the whole year and win the title is a unicorn.

We needed a little shake up and needed to make some changes.

I would never of dropped Kennedy, Tieg and Finucane, but the footy gods made that decision for us.

I’m running with Tracey, Graham and McInnes even if there’s a miracle recovery.

Those other 3 will be handy inclusions for next season.
