Here you go @Gards

Royce Hunt played 5 minutes of ball in play in the first half at 60% possession, and 8 minutes at 55% in the second half.

There are about 165 minutes of ball in play time to share across your middles. As soon as the NRL allows ten on the bench so teams can share those middles minutes across 13 different blokes, I’ll agree that Royce Hunt is indeed un-droppable.

Until that rule change comes in to effect, Royce is just a guy who plays really well in a limited role when the team dominates possession. Sometimes having the guy is great. Sometimes it hurts you. In a perfect world, he’s #17 so you have the option to use him or not.

Tom can play that role or a worker role, so that versatility puts him in front of Hunt imo.

Hazelton is in front of Royce, I never argued anything different

But in terms of what we need right now they are all in front of Dale (providing form stays up)

You know that’s just not going to happen thou.

Right??

No ****

to Ftiz credit he persisted with Wade and it is paying dividends but he didn't really have a choice with our lack of depth in second row. In the middle we are relatively flush with good options and I question why Dale should be an automatic selection anymore

Love the way he attacks in behind the markers. He and Brailey work well together. Give him a crack off the bench in a short stint as a running forward when WK comes back.

Jack of all trades, master of non this lad, but id have him in #14 shirt any day in a fut squad as the guy is all heart and gives 110% into every thing he does.

Hope his injury isn't too bad.

Not sure about his defence in the line. I think a team with a good kicking game will absolutely find him out.

The likes of Cleary, Reynolds and Johnson will use their kicking game to embarrass Tracey in his positioning.

I don’t mean that as a knock on Connor, the guy is our 3rd/4th choice fullback and doing a better job than I think most would have expected but if Kennedy’s hamstring is 100% then I think he should come back into the side.

hope that's not the case
he seems like he will do everything to keep across the attacks
but scary with the likes of some those good kickers in the finals

keen to see the injury updater.
also WK - I was overseas for weeks when he got injured...when is he expected to be back? I saw finals somehwere...

Originally was reported as a 6 - 8 week recovery... I think the Roosters game would be 6 weeks.

Yeah no doubt he tries hard, but he's definitely shaky under the high ball when it's a torp, and is getting easily outjumped when it's contested. It's obviously a game plan to have him in the line more, but I think a good 7 is going to exploit this hard by kicking in behind regularly.

Hamstring injury is a bitch for Will. I have a feeling we might see a strapped up Tracey this week, and have the potential for Will to be back week 2 if all goes well.

and let the ball bounce when he should have caught it!

That right there scares the bejesus out of me.
Yeah I can already picture Keary and Walker bombing us all night with Sualii, Manu and Tupou (if their fit), leaping above him.
