This might be the most important stat you've never heard of - and Cronulla are dominating in it
Deep-diving push supports, potentially the best rugby league stat that you've never heard of.

Thanks SF. Great article. It also points out what we have all noticed this year - we still have a lot of improvement close to the line and last tackle options etc.![]()

Don't sweat it, you can edit it back if you change your mindI think the time out before this week was what won him my 1 vote over a couple other deserving players
Until I edit at least…

He actually looked bigger and stronger on his return. And just as fit and fast. Dude's a certified freak.Tracey charges onto some of the passes from dummy half out of our own end like a bolt of lightning. Can't wait to see him break through the line one day and find some space though if his mind runs as quick as his legs how will his decision making and execution be? might need to play it safe and maybe take a tackle or better yet just run all the way to the tryline himself!
Still I think he is an improved player in 2022 and all heart.
I’m assuming decoy would be everytime the lead runner runs through without collecting the ball. It’s why a lot of middles are at the top, a lot of them would be running that lead decoy off the play the ball@burgess1978 just opened the article and put a coathanger on the door handle
Really interesting, and definitely something we started to notice when Talakai went nuclear. I'd like to see the league table for push supports... you'd think Wilton would be near the top of the list (at least for effective ones).
Cheers Gal. I think it's a bit different to push supports, but gives you a good idea of who's good at it.I’m assuming decoy would be everytime the lead runner runs through without collecting the ball. Both our back rowers so high on the list shows the work they do at pushing up and getting through. Rudolf is also 13th with 50

Definitely. I love his energy.this bloke is all heart
HmmmHes the perfect #14 for us.
Can come and cover any position as required and will give 100%
WS - are you referring to a more capable player that should be No.14 ahead of Tracey?Hmmm
I don’t really want to see Connor at 6, 7 or 9 TBH.
We have more capable players to “fill in” in those spots before Connor if need be.
Otherwise, 2,3,4 and 5 for sure. Most definitely!
Maybe even 11,12 or 13, (but only if push comes to shove).
