I'd say the odds are very long he'll be playing 80.

I expect him to do sub-80 most games to open the season, whether it is just Billy doing 10 or so, or King or Tracey on the bench to take 20-30.

At the moment you'd think Billy, BHU and Rudolf are easy inclusions on the bench. That leaves one spot for someone, most likely options are probably back up hooker (King), hooker/half cover (Tracey), or a 4th forward (Wilton, Sorensen, Bukuya).
Typically 4th bench spot won't get big minutes (unless there is an injury) anyway. Could even be worth carrying a back at some stage when Dugan and/or Moylan make a return... maybe Trindall even could get a nod here.

Could be a great opportunity to give Sj some time at FB and slot Connor into the six from the bench. Say if Williams needed a break, or Dugan or Moylan went down injured (as unlikely as that is... the, even getting on the field, I mean).

I still think it'd be entertaining to give it a go, and if it was for a short, sharp burst could actually work.

SJ spent his whole career at 7, let’s all do the math. It’s big brain time

You guys are no fun :p

Really looking forward to watching this guy next year. Wonder how he’d go as a utltity. Strikes me as the Kurt Gidley type of player. Would like to see him at FB once just for my own curiosity

I’m looking forward to him playing this year.
Next year is a bit too long of a weight

I'm sure it's been mentioned before but every time I see him he reminds me of a bigger version of Chad.

He reminds me of Keary a bit, obviously not size wise but just how he seems to possess a good passing and kicking game but also like to take the line on and run it.
