C7 Matty Johns Show

Aside from the Mason interview, I thought the show was pretty average. All the sketches were embarrasingly unfunny, and they spent little time actually talking footy. The last couple game predictions they quickly crammed in right at the end.

Honestly, I saw little appeal in this show. I love Matty, and glad to see him back and all - but was expecting so much more. A breath of fresh air? It was completely riddled with "comedy" sketches, just like Channel 9's.

Call me a cynic if you will, but I was extremely disappointed. Hope next week shows an improvement.

I thought the Don Burke one was OK, but apart from that it was really disjointed. Almost made me look forward to the Footy Show. You get the feeling he's going to avoid any link with Cronulla like the plague.

Call me soft, but I appreciated the humor not being as crude as the Footy Show's.

Unfortunately for the Channel 9 Footy Show, when Johns left he took all of his ideas with him. You can see he is so on edge and majorly embarrassed about everything that has happened and how the public will react to him. I think parents and kids will be glad they can get in on some footy action at a reasonable hour and with a lot less crudeness (except for Willie having to use swearing in order to express himself adequatly!)

Thought Matty's first show was quite good, but agree with what some of you say, there should be more talk about footy on it, and less sketches.
Beau Ryan should have a show for himself! Haha he's a crack up.

When's he off contract? LOL he'd be a great personality player for the Sharks!

Matty was some what edgey as he would be being his first show,liked the time slot but found they tried to cram too much in maybe rotate his new alter egos from week to week and put in more footy 6/10

I`ll give matty`s show a defininate pass, maybe a little less sketch`s and a bit more hard talk.

Was quite refreshing though, will def tune in next week.

I thought Channel 9's Footy Show last night was much better than Matty Johns'. Of course I prefer Matty over Fatty and co., but at the moment it seems Matty is too reliant on his number of alter egos, which admittedly aren't funny at all. At least Fatty attempts to talk footy.

A good show, light on footy talk but hard when you only have 2 main hosts with little chemistry and not allowed to shows clips.

Definitely disjointed and all over the place but will get better as time goes on.

I'd watch it again.
