Bulldogs wanted to sign him and snuck in front of them...great achievement lol

we are the club players want to come to!

I would hardly say he's killing it, missed 8 tackles and two errors on the weekend but I do think the extra running at FB might not be good for him.

killing it with the ball

That’s one option but I’d prefer to leave Duges in the centres if possible. He’s killing it there and it looks like he’s enjoying it. Correct me if I’m wrong but it also might be better for his leg issues too.

he seems more resilient to impacts and far less injury prone this year, stays down far less often

Shocking. From our captain and one of the few in the team you'd hope really understood the rivalry.

Wade sprints out of the line alot to try put a hit on and rev us up. those prob count against him

11 missed tackles if ****** disgusting. How he seems to have avoided any criticism is beyond me. We need way more from him but he only seems to string a few good games together here and there.

He's great on his day, but only get those games every 3 games it seems.

Just a few more posts and this thread will be in double digits. He's a slow burner.

i dont mind this signing for this year

we are lacking a veteran in the backs after sook boy went to play with his brother

kennedy, ramien, ferris, mulitalo, katoa, hiroti are all under 25, mcdonald is 26 and dugan is 29

signing him for one year isnt a bad idea, if he gets a second year its no good

ive also heard he will play centre this week if moylan isnt fit, meaning dugan will go to fullback

Was thinking the same, it's good to get some older heads back into the team.

was expecting a solid peformance from Goodwin as he is that type of player but that undersells him a bit, he was good, near faultless. thats impressive coming back into the NRL like that

superb as depth if thats what we get from him every time and no complaints if he has to start in the 17 again. his runs were good and was safe as, taking that kick off chad wasn't the easiest take over his shoulder on the run either but he stuck it - finally broke that decade long try drought in sharkies colours!

Was directing Talakai when he got shifted to centre, good value of a veteran there

What do we do when Ronaldo and McDonald are fit and available?

This blokes experience really showed last night. Imo he’s a must in our backline.

This is what I was expecting when we signed Goodwin, didn't understand the hate.

He's a poor mans Josh Morris, and thats not an insult. Jmoz is a gun still. Goodwin has the ability to play multiple positions, experienced, dependable, safe.

Looking forward to seeing our full strength backline which I don't think he's part off but he'll no doubt get some games this if you consider the track record of our backline

Bryson was solid. No complaints. Still very much looking forward to Ronaldo coming back into the side though

Me either, very smart signing.
