Would much rather a HB like Trindall, some mistakes but eyes up, clever and a trier, rather than structured type half.
The only question is, will a more structured halves partner suit Hynes more? There is an argument for both sides of that debate.

I'd rather win a premiership than have a more exciting halfback to watch
Happy to take whatever the best option is for that at any given time
he had a decent game but **** me his decision making is horrendous
i get he is 21 blah blah blah, but a grubber kick on the first tackle is never a good decision
9/10 wow, high odds
I’d take a HB executing that 7/10 times
Kick was on imo if we're talking same kick. If he executed it which he probably does 9/10 times Katoa scores. Just was terrible execution.
You know the kid played well when all you boys are debating is a miskick
9/10 strikes me as an extremely high estimate given many of his short kicks have been way undercooked (some fluking a result though). Although I guess you're saying that is how often Katoa scores if kick was executed well... so I guess I agree? If Trindall had done a good kick Katoa probably scores... he didn't though, he did a trash kick, and doing a good kick is the hard part. Not sure what your odds are of him getting that right, but 'probably' seems generous given the evidence.
I'll back any time you do it and score it was the right call but I reckon he gets the right kick there maybe like 1 or 2 out of 10 at this stage (I expect with some more games that goes up).
I thought it was very ambitious given the quality of short kicks he has demonstrated.
Kick was 'on' but difficult and risky. And he didn't even come close to getting it right.
How well does a player need to play or not play for people to be allowed to discuss individual moments of the game?
I wasn't aware there was a system for this.

No system Bort, Wiz was just outraged that someone could dare to criticise his pets. (For the record I am a Trindall fan now.)
He does this when he interprets anyone is having a go at a player or coach or official he creams over - almost sees it as a personal attack on him.
Well Wiz, I have news for you mate. When Bort and others wrote that on Trindall's miskick, I'm willing to bet they had no thoughts at all of someone jumping down their throats.
Stop taking people's comments so personally, it's just all discussion. You freely make comments on other players you have no time for, it is everyone else's right to do the same.
I think you can be both though, can change it up during the course of a game.
I reckon Trindall can be both.

Hi did exactly the same thing the week before, and possibly the weekd before that if memory serves. It's not just a poor choice in the moment, it's an instinct we'll need to train out of him. I don't think it's a huge leap, just needs to decide if he's kicking, passing or taking the line on a bit sooner
