Trindall makes perfect sense as a signing

Enough potential and enthusiasm to be given a crack at the FG 7 or ongoing bench role and raw and inexperienced enough to be justified as depth pending how our starting halves land

time, patience and support I think he can make it. he's got a bit of that special touch that can elevate him beyond the run of the mill halves

Yep this is very good news indeed, sounds like they have a fair bit of faith in him.

Disappointed though he hasn't played 12 SOO games and won us a premiership yet.

I'm fine with the signing but they must be seeing something in him that I'm not. And fair enough, I've never played the game and am nowhere near an expert.
Hopefully they can do something with him.

Very happy with this signing. If we sign the right players around him I would even be happy with him as our starting half next year, he does need good cover and I would still try and sign a dominant half if we can, but I wouldn't be disappointed if he was our man.

Bloody fantastic news.

Fortunately those that matter can see in Trindall what the naysayers on here don't, or chose to ignore. And he can kick a football a lot further than we have been seeing from our recent halves.

Can't wait to see him working with Hynes and Kennedy.

Doesn't look like it's happening but a much better option would have been to extend SJ for 1-2 years. Trindall would still get quite a few games with SJ's recent injury history.

I'm a Trindall fan but I don't like a Hynes/Trindall pairing yet, too green.
