I gave a comparison today to one of my employees.

We are like a pubescent overweight Red Headed step brother with freckles, glasses and overalls.
And we love playing Dungeons and Dragons.

Definitely can’t score.

You forgot to add we also have our own YouTube channel where you can watch us play dungeons and dragons

Feel so sorry for this guy having to hang with Hannay & Chad

Me too, and after listening to part of Hannay's presser (that was all I could handle) where he waffled on about Chaddie applying his craft, I think Trindall is pushing it uphill to crack a shot in the #7 this year. Was a shame last night that Moylan was inside him when he split them open, as Tracey would have gone in under the black dot.

I saw that in a different way. The journo asked him a leading question, suggesting that it was good to have someone like Chad for a clutch play. What was Hannay to say? He pretty much said that Chad had a shocker up until that point. He also said that Chad trained hard for moments like that field goal and that all of the effort had paid off.

Didn't seem like he was shining Chad's arse to me

not much involvement yesterday, solid in defence. Tried his hand a bit too with that chip kick.

I like how he didn’t try and overplay nothing when he came on. . was happy to blend in and add when needed

yea he seems to have a pretty good temperament and team attitude. would be tempting for a player in his situation to try and overplay his hand and impress but he prob relises he is behind moylan and SJ for the time being regardless and that low % plays isn't going to give your coach confidence in putting you on the field

wouldn't be surprised to hear some news of him extending with the club

He’ll get a chance in the 7 this year.

or the 6

I don’t think he’s our answer though. I just don’t see anything in him.

Wouldn't go as far to say I didn't see anything in him but I agree pretty much. Certainly don't see the must re-sign, must play guy some do.

Hope we're wiping egg from our faces, Chad ... err bad choice of words. Hope we're wrong.

It's funny how our perceptions vary Chad as I see heaps of potential.

I can see some potential, I said last year it wouldn't surprise me if he was starting ahead of Chad by end of 2022... a low bar to jump perhaps...
But it also wouldn't surprise me if he isn't regular NRL ready for another couple of years like a Fogarty, Clune, Gamble, Tracey, Hynes etc etc who aren't competing for starts in the NRL until closer to 25 than 20.
And I haven't seen enough from him (in Cup or NRL) to warrant supporting just gifting him a jersey in NRL just so he can try and show what he's got either, maybe for a couple games right at end of the year if we can't rope the season back in.
