Tricky was rusty as I expected after 5 games off. His kicking game alone is reason enough for him to be there for mine. Certainly didn't hit them all flush tonight but no one in the club has a better kicking game, Nicho included.

I'd expect him to get better next week.

Simultaneously showed tonight why he needs to be there, and why he needs Nicho. His kicking game when we were under the pump about 30 minutes in was amazing. Found the turf a few times and chased hard.

Went absolutely missing in the second half and left it all to his halves partner to try claw it back.

Might have been due to lack of match fitness. He's showed he's a competitor, I'd expect him to improve with another game or 2 under his belt.

Yeah maybe but personally wouldn't cop it as its his fault he was out. 100% needs to be Nicho and Tricky as our halves.

I'm confident in this kid, get more value out of him and has what Nicho needs as a support half.

As Tricky gets older and with more experience he's gonna be an asset.

I genuinely expected Moses to be rusty...

Didn't think Trindall played too badly. His long kicking game and general defence are very good. Those 'hoist it and hope' kicks landing 30m out are a pretty nothing play though.

Atkinson has done a good job since his debut on short notice, and he must be commended for it, but Trindall has to be the 6 (or 7?) to partner Hynes.

he put in a couple of good kicks, the rest were poor. the game plan all year has been to kick to the corners and build pressure. just about every set started outside the parra 20. the guy cant run a team to safe his life
