I'm happy to keep Tolman but he plays for the Jets until we have injuries.

So he'll probably still get plenty of games.

But I do like a plan A of Finucane, Rudolf, BHU, Williams, Hunt rolling through short(ish) stints, other than probably McInnes.

Maybe start McInnes at hooker and Finucane at lock to help with rotation and strong start.

It's the same when anyone makes a half break, it's woeful. Shows a clear ****ty attitude for mine.

Can't believe it hasn't been addressed.

Then you see Tracey hanging around the middle for 20 minutes and jagging an off-load for a try. Between BHU, Woods, Talakai, even Tolman, Nikora and Fifita... Ramien half the time! we're chock full of guys through the middle with an offload. So frustrating there's no-one to give it to most of the time

Dale, Tolman, McInnes - that's a rock solid defensive forward platform to work off and really keep the middle tight where we have been vulnerable

We can interchange / swap around with other forwards for impact such as - Rudolf, Hunt, BHU, Talakai, Williams

not being as soft up the guts will take pressure off everyone

Does he have a twin? Deadset 2 different Blaykes from last game to this.

Little prick hits, lifts & drives some big lads though.

Needs to be taking some notes from Mahoneys kicking game. Has taken his game to a new level.

I just checked out NRL stats, he’s 5th for dummy half runs @ 88 season to date, average 4.5 runs pg, I’m surprised, one of my frustrations is he doesn’t run enough/hardly at all.

Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story.

A lot of discussion on here about BB not getting tackled with the ball. This is not him being soft, or his coach telling him not to get hurt. It is Blayke doing his job to a tea.

Hookers aren't expected to play like Steve Walters anymore. A 15m scoot from your hooker is OK, but what you really want on a scoot is to take the space and then find a bigger guy who either poke his nose through or can get tackled 1 on 1. In this day and age of counting metres we sometimes forget that the next play is often more important than this one. Which would you prefer?

Make 17m and Brailey plays the ball with 3 blokes on him. Someone fills in at dummy half, or
Make 12m and Jack Williams gets a quick play the ball. Brailey gets to dummy half and knows exactly where the ball should go on the next play

Metres are good. Getting the ball on the front foot is better.

Couldn't agree more. The problem is most of the time he takes that space there are no forwards pushing up with him to get that quick ptb and it ends up falling to ****, with him throwing it deep to someone. Which is why it looks like we would be better off with him just scooting.

Our support play as a whole has to be one of the worst in the comp.

Yep 100%, it looks bad because there is never anyone there with him. Have said half a dozen times but I think Hynes and McInnes will help a lot, and also to repeat, Cam Smith never ran himself into the line and was a solid or better hooker for a little bit

I think it's coaching rather than specific players. We don't do those little efforts that he good teams do. You watch Melbourne and they are always running with multiple bodies in motion. Although an instinctive player or two can't hurt.

Burning him out, he is young and we have just expected him to play 80 and make a million tackles. It takes away from his attack. Start with Cam for 20/25 mins then swap him to 13 and bring on Brails, if we don’t see spark or attacking footy then let’s try bro no. 3

This.

He has a great technique but teams are just running their front rowers at him all game, and making more and more metres as the game goes on.
