Just feel he needs a wake up call. Whether that's starting him off the bench of giving him a couple of weeks in reggies.

We changed his body shape, the plan was never to play him at 9 unless brailey got hurt during a game
I agree plan was never for him to play a game as hooker. I’m saying someone who wants Blayke dropped tell me the better option.

I haven’t seen Berrell play this season.

Pulled off some great tackles on big players tonight.

He does that every week and is the strongest part of his game

It's when he has the ball he comes across a bit lackluster. His no look pass off the Kafusi play the ball was good work and got that try scoring play off to a good start but there aren't enough moments like that.

If all he was was an old run of the mill player that can tackle and pass the ball fair enough it is what is but I think Blayke is more talented than that and has more dynamism and ability to his game but its like its being suppressed or coached out of him - if it isn't well he really is regressing and needs an attitude adjustment or perhaps we are just asking too much of him being an 80 min tackle machine cause goodness knows our middles need his help every week

He receives a good offload and just stands flat footed and looks to pass it off, not always a bad call but it kinda sums him up. Unfortunately when he does make a line break he doesn't have support and that part isn't on him.

End of the day a creative 9 goes along way

I get there a more than a handful of mediocre hookers in the NRL competition but they haven't all been hyped up as a future rep player gun like Blayke has and he just isn't really showing it anymore

His best game was all the way back in 2020 in the finals against the Raiders

There isn't a replacement though, Cam McG isn't in great form and our depth isn't up to it - it's a shame we don't have a Segeyaro type player anymore to come on from the bench and inject some enthusiasm and X factor in attack while giving Blayke a breather

Thought Canberra did a great job of isolating him tonight. Or our defence was happy to let him go one-on-one regularly.

2 dummy half system, Give Atkinson a shot off the bench
