for a bloke who contributes **** all elsewhere on the paddock, you think he would be able to get to dummy half
Not his job on either play.for a bloke who contributes **** all elsewhere on the paddock, you think he would be able to get to dummy half
if brailey was playing half back, why was nicho on the field? Not his job on either play.
First one that is the half’s job. Not the hooker’s.
Second one was the hooker’s job. Brailey was actually playing halfback.
Maybe it happened 3 times then. The second one I'm thinking of it was confusion between Brailey and McInnes.if brailey was playing half back, why was nicho on the field?
Yeah , and don't want to spoil his saint status today but lets not forget the Hunt tryJust saw the second one you are talking about. I missed that one. FFS there are two players there (Nikora and Hynes) and they both step away and leave it for each other. 100% Brailey's fault though hey mate?
Brailey is where is supposed to be on that play. In general you don't want your hooker playing dummy half on the extremities of the field, unless you are inside the attacking 20 or so.
So Nicho ****s up twice, with help from Moylan and Nikora... but it's Brailey's fault... because Brailey.

You don't believe it's the hookers job to cover every single play the ball. That's a stretch, even for your schtick to hang **** on Braileyyeh it is
he does **** all else, the least he could do is get to dummy half on the 5th tackle to pass it to the kicker
the **** does nothing else, its the least he could doYou don't believe it's the hookers job to cover every single play the ball. That's a stretch, even for your schtick to hang **** on Brailey
Even you said he can get through his tackles. Laid a few good shots on yesterday too.... Little bugger can punch well above his weight when we're in the mood to play that waythe **** does nothing else, its the least he could do
Brailey's fault - he is the hooker, get in and do it. But I can understand a hesitation when it is Nicho and also when it is Nicho first game back.Just saw the second one you are talking about. We must be talking about a different situation. I'm talking about the Hynes/Nikora one, where they get there and tap it along the ground to Kennedy. Is there another one with Hynes/Brailey? When was that?Brailey's fault - he is the hooker, get in and do it. But I can understand a hesitation when it is Nicho and also when it is Nicho first game back.
Also don't know exact circumstances though - Nicho may have called it, then seen it was Blayke so backed off, then saw Blayke back off because he called it, and they get in the you go left I'll go right dance.
I do think it is hyper critical to go after Blayke about these on this occasion given he gets to the position as much if not more than any other hooker in the league. Will worry me if it keeps happening. Perhaps something like the first one happened just because the players are so used to Blayke getting there that there was no urgency.
Blayke also had a forward pass call to McInnes. I think Blayke wanted to go deep but there was no receiver there, Hynes was set up but was too wide. Cam ran as a decoy and by the time Blayke saw deep wasn't on Cam had overrun and Blayke threw forward. Would always like your hooker to hold those but in the heat of the moment when you are expecting to pass it can be hard not to. Error by Blayke but some miscommunication somewhere too. I don't think McInnes was particularly expecting the ball but someone was missing from the deep option.
Everyone touching the ball as much as Blayke does will bugger up at times. Blayke actually one of the safest.
Eels game was on the line and Reed went himself into a stack of bodies and got held up on last, passed the ball directly into the ground, and then made another mistake too (although I forget what the third one was).
I did think Blayke moved around a bit more and came out and engaged markers a bit more this week.
Oh I haven't watched back, that does sound like what happened, I had thought that was Hynes/Blayke. Indecision makes even more sense if neither is Blayke. We must be talking about a different situation. Assuming he had a good enough reason to not get to hooker in that situation and the one with Hunt in ruck I'm not sure how much he has done wrong here then.
healys kid wouldnt get a run as berrell was outstanding on the weekendI hope we give healys kid some game time in nsw cup. He has some good potential
