Does the CSSC have a different home and away strip?

What is the thing that you notice on the telly when the crowd shots are shown as they pan past the CSSC whether they are at home or away?

Why do the cameras specifically pan past those sections of the crowd?

Why did the CSSC choose to have a uniform in the first place?

I'll give you the answer - it's called brand unity and brand recognition.

It's a sea of Sky Blue and it looks impressive and unified - no doubt it looks great for the players to see all those supporters behind them. It also must overwhelm the opposition and reinforce the home ground advantage.

I don't mind what supporters gear people choose to wear but it should be that all supporters gear should be predominantly Sky Blue.

Heaps of other teams use Black and White - the colour that should be exclusively "ours" is Sky Blue.

The point is that we should have one jersey... and the fans should be united in showing their support for the team and we should all be showing pride in our jersey and our colours.

It's no coincidence that they call it a "uniform"

The Club has done it again, why do they insist on playing in those black jumpers. were not Kiwis, and we always loose big time when we wear them.

It's weird isn't it, I guess to sell them? Like a marketing thing. I thought they looked good but the results under our black jerseys must be insanely bad.

The black doesn't look too bad but our record is shocking! I say use somthing similar to our heritage jumper for our away! It's an awsome jumper!!!!

I thought they wore the black away jersey against the cowboys anzac game
as a tribute, like wearing a black armband (maybe)..

i agree with most here it should always b our standard jersey at home. in saying that i like it, its intimidating, i just wish there was a lil bit more blue to contrast the black

oh and wasnt the original sharks logo the endeavour? i like the 80s logo, that is what i want tattood on my chest

Good bit of Cronulla superstitioning... I wonder how many games we won in the away jersey in 2008? We've been losing in every jersey of late.

The black jersey looked great last Saturday anyway. Unfortunately, its a much better strip than the home one.

In your head, rent free
why not just wear the home jersey with a black arm band...

that would look better

wearing an away jersey at home looked pathetic

I actually really like all four of our jerseys this year. I think our home one is the best though, it's really grown on me. I love seeing all grades wear it.

I would prefer the away jersey to be a reversal as such. ie where the white is, make it sky blue and vice versa. The black jersey can be consigned to the same place as the Super League jersey.

While we're at it, bring back the 80's logo similar to the way the dogs and eels have done with their respective badges
