Really? Your trying to compare Benji with SKD? A Centre v a half? SKD isn't in the same galaxy as Benji.
Benji is a class player. Taking my Sharks goggles off I would rate him right up there with ET and Sludge.
And its a different game now anyway. Like trying to compare Bradman to Tendulkar.

his form finishing up with the tigers was terrible , cant see him coming to the sharks and suddenly finding his form from 2005

Holmes can be but given he has locked himself in for another 3 years (unknown start point on that contract) he is happy, let him learn the game, let him turn 20 wait and see how the year pans out.
He will be top 25 next year he isn't now. So he could play a handful of games this year (and still might)
Benji is a risk but he will instantly bring crowds and corporates. Holmes won't. We need crowds and corporates as much as results on field. Even if he sucks he will still bring crowds and corporates. Again Holmes won't.

But I'm not saying don't sign Benji, both can fit in the team. Should be getting a few games into Holmes this season with the view to slotting him into fullback next year. I love watching the young fullbacks play that I mentioned before, but at the same time it frustrates the hell out of me that we don't try the same thing.
