Benji playing for the Sharks seems to absurd to believe. In the context of the Benji/Beau bromance, they were destined to never play together again so for them to be reunited so soon after Benji changed codes is odd. Not the most important aspect of this potential deal though.

Benji will change those plans.

I'm all for shaping recruitment and planning towards the future instead of stop gap solutions.

Our defence can be crap, but as long as we score more points then the opposition it doesn't matter.
Even just 1 point more than the opposition each and every game still means a premiership.

So a score line of 34-33 or 29 - 28 or 101 - 100 would suffice. A win is a win!

His mindset is what concerns me, if he can show commitment, a positive attitude and work ethic and builds back his confidence he is still young enough to be a good player for whatever NRL club for a few years
He could take pressure off Carney in attack which would help Todds game as well
